“A good small Commissary compaired to other bases. Usually only one manned checkout and two self checkouts open but have seen a second open up when needed. Staff have always been great. Checkout line could be better thought out like the one at Luke AFB that's an example of a good setup. Great selection on staple items with the fresh meat section hit or miss on steaks, chicken etc being limited or out of stock at times. CONUS Commissary locations should consider what they do in OCONUS locations in Europe with vacuum packed meats. That saves alot of packaging and it lasts much longer in the freezer.”
