“I will forever miss this store, and company as a whole. From when your struggling and need some cheap food, or to when your hanging out with buddies and just want a quick snack, this place had it all. I used to come here all the time for their special items you wouldn’t find anywhere else. It’s a shame what a leveraged buyout can do to companies. The 99 leaving Eastvale, and the country is a loss in itself. Many people rely on these stores for presents, food, and many other things that play into why these stores are so important. My hearts go out to the employees who lost there job at exactly 9:00 on 5/12/24. Thank you “The 99 Store”You will be remembered.”
“I've never been to a Dollar Tree! (came for 3 random items on list, left with 20+ ...) * Everything in store is $1.25 (thanks inflation...also unless otherwise marked) * Great holiday option for Xmas bags, boxes, decor, Santa hats, stocking stuffers, etc. (and now V-day) * Aisles separated into categories (but not labeled) such as housewares, cleaning supplies, arts & crafts, greeting cards, organizers, and more * Store is neat and clean * Staff is cheery & helpful (even during holiday rush) * Free parking in large plaza lot FOUR stars ****”
“This is one of the better Dollar Tree(s) in town. They are usually well stocked and clean. The staff is always very friendly, especially Rosa. I recommend this store to everyone.”
“Wow I love this dollar tree I went to 3 including the one I live by on Lincoln looking for a certain decorations and of course I decided to drive way up here to see what they had in stock they were fully stocked very clean store and the employees were hilarious we had such a good laugh at the check out with Michael he is such a fast courteous funny employee I was looking for something and happened to ask one of the girls a question she was so very helpful helping me look and giving me ideas on my project I later found out she was the manager Elaine thank you dear for your friendly smile and all your help!”
“Good store, good inventory, only thing is that they are so short staff -all the time-. There is always only 1 register open. Most times I have gone, there are customer with their little carts filled to the brim and the line gets super long.”

1540 W 6th St #101, Corona“Weird store, they charge a little high and the fish they have are mistreated, they don't feed them and the water is all filthy. The man is really mean and sometimes chases you around the store. The cashiers have a lot of attitude and they don't help you when you have questions, you ask the man or the cashier something and they just tell you I DON'T KNOW.”
“I love this place.. but just recently I went to pick up some cleaning supplies in the morning and while I was walking through the ile with my toddler there was this Chucky girl behind she almost swept me and my toddler feet instead of saying excuse me. I didn't say anything but very rude, other wise I would of given a 5 star.”
“We go to the store on River Road in Norco. It's new and everyone who works there is really nice and professional. They have a cooler with ice cream and frozen foods as well. Some Dollar Trees don't.”
“This store is so clean and organized...which I appreciate the cleanliness of the store. It'll be having great business as long as it remains the same!! We'll be coming back here almost every week when we're doing our laundry (actually next door)!”
“Good customer service, lots of items to choose from I love walking around and looking at all the little knick knacks, I think this store needs to expand they have a lot of stuff in the little space”
“My wife and I throughly enjoy shopping here. It is most likely one of the biggest Dollar Tress in the state. They vast selection of merchandise will have you in the store for well over an hour. The workers are very friendly and you can’t be the $1 item. We highly recommend this store.”
“HONESTLY EVERY TIME MY BF AND I GO THIS STORE THERE'S ALWAYS STUFF ALL OVER THE FLOORS BOX'S AND PRODUCT PPL DROP ANYWHERE AND ETC .. I UNDERSTAND THERE FILLING THE SHELVES BUT THIS IS ALL THE TIME....U HAVE TO REALLY WATCH WHERE U STEP..ALSO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ALL EMPLOYEE'S AT THIS STORE SUCKS..THEY ALWAYS HAVE BAD ATTITUDE'S NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL..WE ORDERED STUFF ONLINE TO BE PICKED UP FROM THIS STORE AND IT WAS A PROBLEM FOR HER (MANAGER) TO GET IT FROM THE BACK..WHEN WE WERE TOLD THE MANAGER HAS TO GET IT..THIS STORE IS CLOSE TO MY HOME FOR US TO GO TO ..BUT LATELY STARTING TO GO TO THE DOLLAR STORE OFF OF* HIDDEN VALLEY PKWY ,NORCO CA ...THE SERVICE IS WAY MORE BETTER SO VERY FRIENDLY..LOT MORE SELECTION AT THIS STORE ,MORE CRAFTS,COLD FOOD SELECTION ETC..U ASK FOR HELP AND THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM HELPING THERE CUSTOMERS..BUSY OR NOT THEY TAKE THE TIME TO HELP..SO RECOMMEND DOLLAR TREE IN NORCO CA .. “They have excellent service and it's so close by to my house and I love they have electronics but the one thing I don't like that they don't have earbuds and iPhone 11 and 12 and 13 phone cases, please sell those or else you're going to get a terrible review”
“Small holiday seasonal items. A good craft section. School supplies. Kitchen items. Food but nothing fresh. So many Karen's in the comment section here. Be grateful for your privileged life.”
“I would rather go to this dollar tree than the one on garey bcuz the one on garey is always so disorganized and in disarray. This dollar tree is so much better neat & clean. The stuff is put away where it goes and it's just better. Au can actually find stuff with ease and don't have to go digging around place for everything and everything in its place ......... As my grandma would say .”
“Dollar tree or 99 ? 99 has some decent plant selections and of course they have fresh groceries there. For all my bargain shoppers out there this place generally has a great selection of odds and ends for all of your various needs. Today though, the store shelves were super bare and there was hardly anything in some departments. Everything looked a bit disorganized but when I inquired about it upon check out, Mylene, the friendly cashier, told me all the valentines stuff just got cleared out and also they had not had time to stock the rest of the shelves in the store. This store is usually always busy and I notice everyone gets in line at the same time most days! The balloons here are popular, but I think Mylar balloons will be against the law in CA soon!”
“At 8:20 the other night I had remember that I had to get balloons for a friends going away party. The first Dollar Tree I went to had no balloons left! So I went to this store as fast as I could getting there at 8:50. They had a few slowly deflated balloons I was going to purchase, when I got to the counter I asked if there were any other balloons. Jocelyn was the cashier helping me, and not only did she help me find other balloons but she also re-inflated the droopy balloons for me!! All while they had to close, she took that extra time for me! So thankful, and they were all put to great use!!”
“It’s difficult to get a 1.5 rating on Yelp, even when you don’t care. While there is probably some truth to some of the past reviewers stories, that wasn’t my experience on this visit. The store appeared to be in order and being efficiently run. The floor was clean, the shelves were stocked and neat.I didn’t speak with anyone but one of the employees smiled at me and nodded. Despite me taking multiple pictures in the store, no one stopped or questioned me.I would return to the store based on my experience.”
“From the 2 crazy Asians that walked into the store, shout out to Ashley (I think she was a store manager and it was her birthday week). It was a pleasant experience and we had a good laugh. What a fun store to visit. Keep it up!”
“The only actual dollar store, I come here all the time, several times a week. The staff always greet you, very friendly and helpful. Never been an issue bringing my dog in which is much appreciated, your friendly and kind staff make me feel welcomed and that's not the case in a lot of other places. I'll continue coming here again and again.”
“Dollar Tree in Claremont, located in the Peppertree Shopping Center next to Little Caesars and a dog grooming business, holds the distinction of being the largest retailer in the shopping center. This store has always been a reliable shopping destination for me, thanks to its consistently well-stocked shelves. Whenever I walk in, I know I can find what I'm looking for. It's worth noting that while Dollar Tree used to exclusively offer $1 items, I have noticed a gradual shift towards items priced at $1.25 to $5.00. This change has been a bit disappointing, as part of the store's charm was the affordability of everything. However, it's important to manage expectations regarding the range of products available. Fresh produce and healthy food items are not to be found here, so it's best to look elsewhere for those needs. One positive addition to the store is their gift card center, where you can conveniently load up gift cards. It's a convenient service that adds value for customers. Dollar Tree also excels in providing interesting seasonal items. During the summer, I particularly enjoy purchasing their lemon-themed cups. It's a great place to find affordable seasonal decor and supplies. When it comes to snacks, Dollar Tree is a haven. They offer a wide array of candy options to satisfy any sweet tooth. Additionally, the store is a go-to for gift wrapping supplies, balloons, and other party essentials. The variety and affordability of these items make them a real bargain. However, I do have a couple of concerns that prevent me from giving Dollar Tree a perfect rating. Firstly, the staff often appears overworked, and as a result, the lines at the checkout can become quite long. It's clear that additional support is needed to maintain efficient service during busy periods. Secondly, the manager's demeanor leaves something to be desired. They don't always exhibit the friendliest attitude, which can detract from the overall shopping experience. Lastly, the pricing at Dollar Tree has been on the rise, with some items now reaching surprisingly high price points. It's disheartening to see the store depart from its original concept of offering everything at an affordable $1 price. Some of the current prices seem excessive and out of line with what one would expect from a dollar store. Taking all factors into account, I rate Dollar Tree in Claremont with a solid 4 out of 5. It remains a dependable shopping destination, thanks to its extensive selection and reliable stock. However, improvements in staff support, manager attitude, and pricing policy would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for customers.”
“It's a great Dollar style store but it's in a very bad area. There are always tweakers and homeless people in the parking lot and although they leave you alone for the most part, they do make the place feel very unsafe. The store itself is loaded with stuff, especially food and snack items. I often stop by to stock up on quick groceries. It's been closed for the past few days and there's a sign that says they won't know when they'll open back up again. Not sure what's going on.”
“Decent place to shop for short term miscellaneous household stuff for cheap. The min cost is now $1.25 however you will get good items. All their milk products seem quite great for the price.”
“Cheap items but good catch items are being served here. The workers on this store are very friendly are great on accommodating the customers. I totally love this store.”
“I have not been in a dollar tree store in two years this dollar tree is so clean and well put together, I applaud management and employees for a excellent customer service and cleanliness ?”
“Went to Dollar Tree for a purpose. To pick a Cup Caddy that I saw on YouTube what's new @ Dollar Tree. Since I was there I saw what else I could use for $1.25. With the help from the very nice staff. I picked up Craft storage Bins and painting supplies. I could leave without getting a toy, the Hershey & Giraffe pillows for the cat & dog. As you can see in the picture they need more toys. I spent $28.00.
FYI, I tried the hair. Not good, for $1.25 not a great loss. Would have been nice if it did work. All the other items work great!”
“I liked it because they had a nice selection of "stuff" in their clean and organized store for only a dollar , anything , and Everything. Found a couple of Hanes T-shirts in my Favorite color red for only a buck !!! Scored Big Time , I only wished they had more than the two I got !!! Plus I think the people running Dollar Tree are much more Honest and better than the crooks over at "Let's tell you a line" Cause no it ain't ninety-nine !”
“Great store freeeezing cold AC. OMG it was so cold that I had to leave fast and with a running nouse from the cold ? ?. Definitely coming back but with a jacket ??”
