“Oakwood Market has been a staple in East Palo Alto. The owners are very customer friendly and know their customers and community. They have variety of produce and proteins. The chorizo, breakfast sausage, party wings are a must get. Again they have a variety of things so go ahead and give them a try. Weather you're in Palo Alto , it's literally right over the bridge. They have a huge parking lot out side so you don't have to worry about that. Thanks again to the Oakwood family for taking care of the community and people. Much love.”

“The store is much improved from previous ownership and management. Much cleaner, more organized and the quality of the meat department much better as is the produce and bakery. The roasted chickens are also really good. Self checkout is a welcome addition. Only problem is they sold out their corn bread before I got there!!! It's delicious. Moist, corny and a little sweetness. Next time I'll get there earlier.”

“Fresh sushi made on site. The Maya in the butcher case looked amazing. Awesome drink selections on the back wall! Small store with a surprisingly big selection and super friendly staff. Ample parking, Wells Fargo, and a Starbucks in the same shopping center.”

“This store has been our go to for the past 30 years. I love how cconvenient it is. There was a time when I dreaded coming in here because of the staff and the poor quality of produce. NO MORE. this store has improved by leaps and bounds. The produce is great now. The meat is above average especially for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you all!”

“Excellent grocery store with a wide selection. If I'm looking for one place where I can find high-quality steaks, fresh seafood, wonderful cheeses from around the world, a variety of produce, and a bunch of staples, Bianchini's is one of my top choices. To me, they're comparable to Draeger's in this regard, and above all other grocery stores in the area.”

“Quality and healthy foods but be prepared to pay much higher prices. 7" pie at Draegers costs the same as 10" at chain stores Higher prices for slightly upgraded ingredients and service”

“Good deals. Large portion of food. It’s very scary. The ribs and chicken were surprisingly good. The bag of chips was crazy huge. I’m glad that this place is available for the cost conscious customer.”

“Lucky has a better assortment of Mexican products than other supermarkets in the area, like jarritos, corn tortillas, bolillos, salsa valentina, tajin, mole, chayotes, calabacita, gary gelatine and flan. And sometimes pan dulce and queso fresco.”

“Located conveniently at the corners of Mathilda & Maude Ave in Sunnyvale, it's easy to get to, and plenty of parking at this plaza shared by Pizza Hut & KFC. The prices used to be extremely high, and I didn't find much sales item. However, Lucky Corporate has helped change things up that I come nearly weekly.

Weekly, they always have an item FREE, like an energy drink, a soup mix, etc. Today, I was salivating for some fried chickens, and from my app, I saw this 8-piece for $4.99, what a deal!! Well, when I self-checked out, I couldn't believe what I saw, with digital coupon discount, it came to $2.18‼️‼️‼️???? EIGHT pieces of delicious Fried Chickens, that's like 35¢ each piece, and they were yummy ???

Some other specials were like 6.99/lb Salmon fillets, Doritos chips for Buy 2 get 2 Free‼️‼️‼️”

“Ok, so I called them just a day before my kids' birthday to order a cake. Not just they took my order on the phone right away but also customized it by doing a single cake in half Spiderman and half mermaid theme. It was the most delicious cake, and they also gave a free mermaid topper. Most kindest and most resourceful people I've yet to meet in person ? whoever took our order, this mom is very grateful to you. Thank you!!!”

“Lucky's is my regular grocery store. I go to Safeway every now and then, Although they're produce seems to be a bit better than Lucky's, overall it seems that I get a better deal set Lucky's. Either way, both stars have their plus and minuses. And of course they differ somewhat in the brands they carry. With prices soaring everywhere around us, if you want to save some money, whichever store you go to It is well worth it to spend some time and go through the ads with their online app and the specials and the digital coupons that you can only get credited for if you click on them in the app. As well as store coupons. If you take some time to go through them you can easily spend $100 each trip, but I find that I end up with a savings of at least 30% or more if I stick to my shopping list. And then you get a few more coupons paper coupons from check out or you can save $1 to $10 more on your next trip. And if you take the survey mentioned at the bottom of the receipt, it's a little lengthy but you get 5% off on your next grocery store run on top of everything else. On my last trip my bill was $140! Yet, I only paid $95.00! My car got a good drink with the $45.00 I saved.”

“I really want to support this grocery store. It is local and they do a pretty job with limited staff. I just wish they would stock the milk in the evenings when people need it. I can see lots behind the empty shelves, just out of reach. Happens every time :(”

“Better selection / fewer out of stock items than Safeway - especially milk! Less hectic parking and store = better ambiance / shopping experience! Easter steak & potatoes from the deli were better than Town (popular steakhouse)! The lady preparing these really went above and beyond!”
