“We had been to several tile stores and could not find what we wanted. We went the Artistic Tile and Stone and found the styles, colors and trim. We were so impressed with how much they knew in calculating the amount needed, the grout etc. Daniel helped us as well as Cynthia. I HIGHLY recommend them as your first, and last stop when looking for tile.”

“If you've spent a couple decades without a local lumberyard, what a breath of fresh air this crew is. I was looking uncertainly at plywood when a guy finished with another customer, asked what I was looking for, and then *said they could cut the wood for me*. I almost cried with relief. As is common with vendors that thrive on commercial customers, none of the wood has prices on it. I paid maybe a bit less than a box store, but for beautiful 1/2" sanded plywood: not only did they have it right there, but I didn't even have to go through the stack to find something that wasn't terrible. I'm more than happy to drive the extra 10 miles to shop here.”

“We had our second floor house addition done . As we were shopping around we discovered contractor warehouse HD supply . While we visited Santa Clara , the closest to our house was Hayward. The price was right and we had to order door, windows , bath tub , toilets , shower door. If any one has done a large home addition you would know how challenging it could be to place large orders. We placed 22 windows, with 22 door and a lot more. It wasn't easy until Shirley stepped in to help us and sort our order. She spent hrs ensuring our order was correct and placed on time. She went above and beyond her line of duty to ensure we were satisfied. She did not stop there she also gave us her direct contact and email if we had any further questions. If there were open it she followed through email or phone call. Having Shirly at contractor warehouse was like have someone backing you in your construction project and she took away most of our headache . Even when we received our order and we had issues with couple of window , she again stepped in sort it out for us. We never had to follow up, she alway took the initiative to follow through . We come to rely on Shirley to the level I could send my son to pick stuff from contractor warehouse knowing Shirley will get him the right size/ style/ color/ design . Had it not been for here I probably wouldn't have purchased all this from Contractor warehouse. Thanks Shirley!”

“Theft is horrible here. I feel terrible for those who work at this location. Home Depot needs to work with local authorities and also try out new techniques to discourage theft.”

“I recently visited the Walmart store in Union City and had a positive experience overall. The store is conveniently located and offers a wide variety of products, ranging from groceries to household essentials and electronics.

One thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness and organization of the store. Despite its size, everything seemed well-maintained and easy to navigate. The aisles were clearly marked, making it simple to find what I was looking for.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the checkout counters where the lines moved quickly. I appreciated the efficient service and the overall pleasant atmosphere of the store.

However, one area that could be improved is the availability of certain items. While most products were well-stocked, there were a few instances where I couldn't find exactly what I needed.

Overall, my experience at the Walmart in Union City was positive. It's a convenient option for shopping, with a good selection of products and excellent customer service.”

“We are 2 years into a home remodel project. Not everything has gone ..... (cough !) smoothly. There have been a lot of ups n downs on this merry adventure of financial insecurity and anxiety. But ! Throughout all of our successes and some of our "oh shit ! " moments. Home Depot in San Mateo has been right along side us. They've never given us grief with a legitimate issue and they've always been polite , prompt and friendly. Todays Yelp is a direct result of an interaction that my wife and I had with Steve in the return department. He may not remember me but I remember him from several prior interactions with him over the last two years. Steve is polite , friendly , articulate and genuinely kind and helpful. We had made a serious mistake and bought a very expensive item that was essentially entirely useless to us once we discovered our blunder. I was so relieved to see Steve at the counter. He didn't make a big fuss about our return or ask a bunch of questions to force us to admit that we'd screwed up. (We did. ..) he didn't "oh I need a manager for this .." or act like we were doing something shady. (It seems to me that these days most retailers make the act of an exchange or a refund feel like you're committing retail fraud. It's icky out there folks !!!). Nope. Steve honored the spirit of Home Depot's policy and he helped us fix our blunder quickly and efficiently with a solution that was acceptable and let us feeling valued as a customer. Service like he delivered took away a touch of the angst and anxiety that I have been almost constantly feeling for two years. I might even sleep a little tonight. Thanks Steve !! I hope someone at Home Depot reads this and gives you a bonus or a raise. At the least a cookie !! I appreciated being treated like a human being.”

“I was here for a scavenger for my youth group and the staff was very understanding and allowed it so that was nice. Other than that it is Home Depot and it has everything you would need and expect from a Hone Depot.”

“I've had lots of bad experiences at Lowes lately, so I've gone more towards HD in recent years.

However, I needed to buy a patio table today and Lowe's had better options, so I purchased one. It took longer than I'd like because there was a strangely long backlog of people in the grill/patio furniture area, but I felt the need to leave a review because this gentleman named Philip is one of the best associates I've had the pleasure of interacting with in a store like this.

Extremely patient (with multiple customers bearing down on him), caring (the guy he called to get the table from the back took his time, and while Philip was working with another customer he was still worried about me and wanted to make sure I was being taken care of), and very obviously knows what he's doing (I at first asked another associate about the patio table and she literally pointed to Philip and was like "that guy", on top of me seeing him delegating tasks to multiple people, haha).

I feel like if Philip isn't running this whole store, he really should be.”
