This place is alright. Unfortunately they have the bakery next to the meat section. Wtf Still had some bread, it was good. Nice and squishy I mean soft. Wouldnt mind coming back. Oh downside of the bakery is they only accept cash.

The products they sell are over priced, and there are always pan handlers out begging for money, kind of a hangout for undesirables drunks, the management doesn't seem to care. I'll pictures of the folks next time I drive by. Don't stop here

the last of the original moms and pops small markets in East Palo Alto. a brilliant location for the next neo-noir urban film I come here for cabin breakfast crackers - a winter staple for Tongan's tea/cocoa time. a summer crunchy add-in for fobs who like it in otai, the summer fruit drink. small is $9.99 and the bigger package is $14.99 cheap fresh produce, snacks and a check cashing and money transfer available here. guys sit behind a plastic wall. guarding the 'bank' a few crackheads roam the parking lot. walk fast or slow. do you dare to be entertained?

Clean and straightforward little market... like a convenience store with some fresh food, or like a small deli in New York. Smallish selection of groceries, but certainly more than the zero you'd find at 7-11. Gentleman at the counter was very friendly while we were in buying snacks. There's also a check cashing station behind what appears to be safety glass.

Its a 'Mo'nay'! Looks really nice from far away but upon closer examination 'ugh'. I was on my way to the Dumbarton bridge but before I got there I stopped here to get some fruit to hold me over until I could get some lunch. OMG, most of the fruit was terrible mushy and old looking. How disappointing since I was so sure this store would have some decent fruit: NOT. As is typical for neighborhood small markets this store had a nice supply of ghetto fabulous caps, T's and scarves. Low lighting, but all in all I think corner markets are great for the community. Food, accessories, phone cards.

I live pretty close to Country Time. It's pretty awesome for me. They almost always have the lowest prices for produce. The condition of the produce varies, but as long as it's in good shape, you won't find a better deal. They also have pan dulce and stuff really cheap every day. 3 for a dollar. It makes Mi Pueblo look like Safeway or Trader Joes. (That might be a good or bad thing depending on who you are, but it's pretty tight for me.) I realize it's not for everyone, but it's usually my first stop when I start grabbing raw ingredients for cooking.

Very comprehensive selection of Jarritos sodas and check cashing to boot? While the cashier was super friendly the check cashing guy looks like he's about to put a cap in someone's a****
