“Huge selection of nice-looking plants and outdoor furniture. The back is beautiful and relaxing with all of the fountains. Love the few plants we bought and there were a lot of cute pots.”
“Large nursery with a wide variety of plants. Very reasonably priced. Both times i have gone, the younger gentlemen provided excellent customer service. He makes sure he is avaliable to answer any and all questions. I'm almost positive this place is cash only.”
“Have used these guys for years for our home projects. When you walk in there is a sign that says We are a small business here to help. No lie. They know what they are doing and want to help you. They help you pick best wood and offer expertise and support however they can! Way better than Home Depot for support!”
“What a great nursery. Everyone that works there is so helpful and knowledgeable. Very easy going and no pressure to buy anything. Very extensive selection of plants and tropicals.”
“This place is my favorite nursery with best customer service and affordable prices. Craig is the best! Super knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We were looking for some outdoor succulents in front of the house, he walked around to show us different kinds. Once we purchased, he even helped us load them in the car without us even asking. We love coming here to walk around and get inspiration for our house plants and landscape. Cherry on top is you can't beat that price!!”
“5 Stars for Richard and Letitia! They were so kind and helpful. It seems like Home Depot may have short-staffed the night my husband and I stopped by to get a few railroad ties, but those two gave us great service despite the chaos. They should get a raise!”
“Who hired Andres? You have a keen eye for talent. Please fill your store with more like him. He crossed paths with me at the entrance. I had a mulch exchange which I'd purchased the wrong color. The initial contact, the usual not so friendly front end customer service you don't have your receipt...blah blah...never mind that I spend thousands of dollars at this store chain yearly. Never mind that not only was I replacing with a correct color but purchasing more bags, but ok ladies, I have a broken rib and no strength to care so I will allow you to be condescending and feel important, just give me my mulch. I still have Andres. He hauled the cart with the wrong color bags to the garden, loaded now 10 bags of the right color, plus two bags of GroMulch and was ever so happy to do so. Andres stayed with me through check out and loaded my car ever so careful...and just a nice guy. "Ma'am, I love my job" The attitude amazing...the skills...amazing. Management keep an eye on this man and give him what he deserves. Don't lose him and hire more like him. To loyal Home Depot customers that read this review ask for him when you come in and commend him for doing a great job. They don't get paid enough for their hard work. To the management...hire more employees that care just like Andre.”
“Took our mom to visit the California Cactus Center for the first time. She has recently fallen in love ❤️ with all things succulents and we knew she would fall head over feet when she saw all the varieties. They have different sizes of plants, various prices, some are already potted, and many more ready for you to create your own succulent world. Here you will find the most common succulents and to the most exotic. They have it all! Including pots and Stones to decorate your own creation.”
“I recently had the pleasure of working with the amazing team at the Juicy Leaf to send 5 personalized tropical plants to my best friends scattered around the Los Angeles area for Valentine's Day. Living in Sacramento, I was initially concerned about the logistics, but thanks to the outstanding assistance from both Felix and Felipe, the entire process was seamless and stress-free.Felix went above and beyond to involve me in every step, providing updates and seeking my input to guarantee things were perfect. Budget considerations were also a priority for me, and I was extremely grateful for the effort Felix put into keeping costs within my preferred range. From the outstanding kind and empathetic customer service, to all of the personal touches, I cannot recommend the Juicy Leaf enough. Whether you're a local or ordering from a different city like me, Juicy Leaf is a reliable and trustworthy choice. Thank you Felix and Felipe for making this love day extra special for some of my favorite people <3”
“Great nursery! Alan is friendly and super helpful! He found me some indoor plants I was looking for and let me know when they had them. Beautiful plants! Nice selection with good prices. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!”
“Great selection of cactus with great prices. The gals who run it are so sweet. It's my daughter's favorite place to go explore. We found a great variety of plants that still are alive today which is always a win. They also have cute planters but def need to follow them on IG when they get the best ones. Their bead earrings and patches are cute too.”
“Very helpful staff. Explained the differences between mowers, trimmers and blowers. Spent more money than I thought I would because they really knew their stuff and I just couldn't say no. I felt like a kid in a candy store. But, believe I got some good deals and know I got some quality items.”
“Best place to get a variety of rare and healthy plants in LA! Elton and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and go above and beyond so you will leave very happy. Even with so many customers in and out, Elton remember us though we haven’t been there for a while. Even though they were so busy, they will happily answer questions you have and help your plants thrive.Rainbow also has very cute pots of all sizes! Their price is unbeatable and on top of that they gave us discounts on top of discounts. They get new plant shipments every Friday. If you can’t find a plant, ask them and they can tell you if they will get any in the near future.Check it out, you won’t regret it!”

6012 York Blvd, Los Angeles“ONE OF MY BIGGEST REGRETS WAS NOT TO STOP AT THIS PLACE SOONER....... So I've always passed up this spot going down York. It was a nursery back in the dayz when I was a youngster mom and pops would roll up in there to buy some grass and flowers for our child hood home. Well let me explain myself a little better it's still is a nursery but a high end one, what I mean by that is that the neighborhood is now hipsterville so its way more pricey then it was and yes it is very nice different kinds of plants, flowers and yes succulents I'm sure there are much more to look at but I just went in there for a couple of gifts for my manicurist and a friends mother. As I got older and moved away I would see everything dried out but when Planta moved in everything looked beautiful. Then about a year ago or so they moved across the street to a big building with lots of space for there plants but I saw no grass. Anywho the worker that was there that day was very attentive and help me pic exactly what I was looking for. As I went pass there last week I see a new nursery spot moving in the old Planta spot which I can't wait to stop by I think is gonna be their sister store. I'll let you plant lovers know the biz when I find out. Parking is street only for both spots. "KEEPING IT 1HUNNID"”
“I have struggled to maintain a healthy herb garden so I figured I’d ask the experts. I was so fortunate to stumble upon this place! The staff were so knowledgable that I had a full educational experience where they taught me everything about growing, feeding, and caring for my herb garden. They even gave recommendations for home remedies and weren’t pushy about selling products. They offer classes so I’ll definitely be back!”

Whether it’s a tune-up to get you back on the road or a full custom build from the front wheel to the rear tire and everything in between, this is the place for you”
“I LOVE THIS NURSERY!! I worked right next door for years before I ever went in and looked around. It seems deceptively tiny from the outside, but the variety and quality of plants, greenery, and landscaping supplies was astonishing and extraordinarily pleasing. Ground cover, flowering, trees, indoor, outdoor, garden, hanging, pots and planters, soils, amendments, and supplies...it's all here and attended by super friendly and helpful staff. The place is busy, parking is tight. The visit is worth it.”

412 N Glendale Ave, Glendale“I called several places to find the flowers, hyacinths, my wife wanted, and one place said they could only put one in a bouquet and others said they didn't have it. I called here and they said, "We have it, $() each." I drove right over. It's my first time here, and I could tell right away that this is a great place. The people are nice and the buying experience is nice and easy. I plan on using this place as often as I can. Update: The flowers are still alive, and they smell lovely. 2/20/24”

804 Lincoln Ave, Pasadena“Love this little neighborhood nursery. They have everything you could possibly want and more. They have unusual plants that you would never find at Home Depot. You might find the same plants at Armstrong Nursery but you would also be paying almost double what Lincoln Nursery charges. The staff st Lincoln are friendly and very knowledgeable.”

4254 Tyler Ave, El Monte“Have bought 7 trees so far from champa over 3 different days,2 in person 1 online. Everything's doing great and growing in my bakersfield heat. I think their prices are fair for the cool fruit trees they carry. Workers have always been helpful and nice. They have alotta varieties. I can't wait till my atemoyas and jackfruit fruit. I will come back in the future.”
“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I came in last minute to get five bouquets made for a day OF event, and the ladies hooked me up!!!! 2 N El Molino St, Alhambra“Ridiculously cute animal air plant holders/mini plant pots. Each one is designed and made as a one of a kind so each one is a little different and unique. I came in and was immediately greeted by the owner who told me that him, his wife, and his mom collaboratively work on all of these themselves so it is very heart warming to know that it's a family business! I only got a cow one but I honestly wanted them all! They have various animals such as cows, bulls, pigs, sheep, elephants, fish, and turtles! Each one comes with an air plant too!”
“Drove up to the Monterey Park Costco Shopping Center hoping to go to the Home Depot for some succulent soil for a succulent display we are doing in our front yard. The traffic in that parking lot was horrendous, turned right around. I noticed a lot of nurseries are closed on a Saturday morning, but this one was open! Called up this nursery to inquire about soil and received a prompt answer. We walked onto the nursery and were looking at the soil when an employee walked up to us to help us choose soil. She began lifting up soil onto a cart. She brought the soil to and loaded it into our car. She was incredibly helpful! We walked away with a few more succulents and I looked over their houseplant selection. The plants overall look healthy here and are appropriately priced! Definitely go here if you'd like to support a local business, I'm glad we did!”
