“If we could rate higher than 5 stars, we would. Daniel is the owner of Mattress Store Pasadena and manned the store over Easter weekend when we wandered in. At first, I thought we'd just get some info, shop around later in more stores and compare prices online, then make a final decision in the summer when we actually need the bed. Instead, we walked out not only having purchased a new bed, but having one of the best retail experiences, feeling confident about our purchase and feeling fully taken care of. I'm normally skeptical of any pushy or shady sales tactics, but Daniel slowly and patiently won over my trust. He is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced with what he's selling, and really took his time explaining each option, giving us tips on how to best shop and feel for mattresses in stores. He wanted us to make the right decision based on needs and price, and never did we feel pressured or sold to. Instead, it felt more like getting a unbiased lesson on how to choose a bed and how to sleep well. When appropriate, he voluntarily left the store and gave us space to discuss privately. The top notch experience did not end once he got the sale. He was incredibly flexible with post-purchase leading up to the delivery. 2 months after our purchase when we called to get the delivery scheduled, he was able to recall exactly what we purchased and action it straight away. He went out of his way to get the bed delivered for us over the 4th of July holiday weekend. All of the above felt so personal and a giant step beyond any uniform push to make a profit. Finally, the purchase itself: I personally hated Tempur-pedic products and they've had a bad rep, but in working with Daniel (instead of being sold to), over the course of this experience, we ended up buying a Tempurpedic ProAdapt. I've waited a month to write the review as it takes time to experience a new bed. Everything Daniel advised was indeed true. This is one the best beds we've ever had and we have had improved sleep and posture thanks to Daniel's help. We really can't recommend this store and Daniel enough, and wholeheartedly advise you go to him if you need a new bed, or want better sleep.”

“Jake, at Mattress Firm, was a god-send for my wife and me. We were looking for the right mattress and adjustable base to improve our sleep, as it has been less than stellar these past few years. Jake was able to listen to our gripes and offer solid feedback and eye opening knowledge and (this was the kicker for me) all without being a pushy salesman. It was clear that Jake wasn’t just trying to make a sell but genuinely wanted to hook us up with the best options for our needs. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed to close. He gave us at least two hours of his time as we bounced back and forth from one bed to the next and then back again. We settled on a Tempurpedic combo and could not be happier or more excited about our purchase. We will ABSOLUTELY be visiting Jake and Mattress Firm again for any and all mattress needs. “The importance of improving lymphatic drainage to assist with detoxification of the brain and body is an often overlooked aspect of the detoxification process. The incline provided by the Samina sleep system is a way to optimize lymphatic drainage as we sleep. In addition, the support it provides to the shoulders and back is incomparable to any other mattress I've used in the past.We are enjoying our sleep system so much and plan to purchase another for our vacation home. It took a bit of adjustment from our previous mattress but I am now 80% a back sleeper after being a lifelong stomach sleeper. My Oura ring data confirms improvement in my sleep quality. “In 2019, we bought an extra-firm queen mattress with box springs from Paul at Mattress City. We were so satisfied with the purchase, we brought a relative to Mattress City to replace their mattress. Fortunately, Paul was there that day. Purchasing the mattress was a breeze. Paul was very attentive to our relative's needs, and did not try to upsell. He was very knowledgeable about the products. He not only explained the key differences between the products, he even demonstrated how the springs work. The prices were already very competitive, and on top of that, delivery, set up, and haul away were included. Paul assured us that even though the product we had selected would be manually assembled, it should be ready in about 1-2 weeks. Exactly 6 days later, we received a call from the delivery company. The delivery team arrived on time, and set up / haul away took less than 10 minutes. Our relative complimented on the quality of the mattress. For a first time in a long time, they did not wake up in the middle of the night due to poor mattress support. Thank you, Paul! We will definitely return to Mattress City for future mattress needs.”
“I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bedsheets through Irida, an employee at Tuft n needle in Glendale. She was really fantastic and went above and beyond. I had called in the morning looking for a specific type of bedsheets. Irida was pleasant to talk to and she searched through the inventory to help find the ones I was looking for. “I had a great experience visiting the store. The salesperson Aaron wasn't a sales person at all. In fact, helped me like he was my friend. I loved the no pressure sales approach. He answered all of my questions without trying to push me in a particular direction. He was very knowledgeable and let me try out the various recliners for as long as possible.The store has many recliners from brands like HumanTouch, Cozzia and others. I got to try them all. I prefer the HumanTouch ones. Aaron was able to answer my questions regarding financing options and different warranty packages. My buying experience would not have been the same without him. 100% would recommend visiting this store.”

“I was looking for a couch that would fit our needs and not leave my wallet crying. I found Tempo on Offer Up and called to find out they have two locations. We visited one shop and found the right couch for us, but unfortunately only the display model was there. However, they were kind and accommodating and called up the other location to have them wrap the couch and have it ready for us to pick up that night even though it was about to be closing time. We got our couch that night and it has been perfect for us. This place has a lot to offer aside from couches, a great selection at reasonable prices.”
“On Valley Blvd just west of Rosemead, there are 4-6 Chinese furniture stores. To me, it seems like they all order from a large wholesale warehouse. They all have small show rooms. Just tell them what you're looking for and what price, and they will flip through the catalogs with you to help you find something you like. Obviously not going to find high quality items at these stores, but if you're looking for something practical and affordable, these places are better than IKEA. They are also willing to deliver and set it up in your house for you. The downside: Parking there is limited (only 1 of the furniture stores has parking). This is bargain based shopping, so you have to negotiate. Sometimes if the negotiation goes the wrong way, one might get angry... luckily there's 4 more stores right next to each other!”
