“Late Friday after business hours I was working on a project where the hydraulic hoses provided we're too short and did not fit the application. Saturday morning around 8 a.m. I went to my usual hydraulic hose provider only to find out that even though they advertise to be open on Saturdays they were closed. I found Sunset Industrial Parts on yelp and I ordered the correct size of hydraulic hoses with fittings. I've driven past Sunset industrial Parts probably a million times over the past 20 years but never thought to stop by to see what they sell. Getting back to my story - by 10:30 in the morning my custom hydraulic hoses were we're done and ready for pickup. I picked up the hoses and some other parts and was able to complete my project.I was surprised to learn that Sunset industrial Parts stock many of the bearings, seals, parts and hardware that I use. A big thank you to Jose Birruel Account Manager for his professionalism and customer service.By the way my custom hydraulic hoses were made from materials Made In The USA! AND the prices were less than I would have expected to pay at my regular supplier.As in the movies - "I'll be back"Thanks again Jose”

“Mmmmmm, my electrician friends, there is a great variety of tools, not to mention the material, the most important thing is really everything, but in this store they have 12/2 250-foot Romex wire at an affordable price. It is $85 dollars plus taxes. I recommend it for us electricians who work. On your own. Economical prices, excellent kindness.”
“Well, it has things at a very good price compared to Home Depot and well organized. There are some tools that are not good quality, but if they get you out of an emergency, for example, if I use a drill that costs less than 60 dollars and Home Depot costs 130 and I don't have money, it's a good option for me, I'm 60”

“I sent some emails asking questions and they were answered very quickly with the information I requested. I loved the quick response which then led me to go to the location to get my 5lb co2 tank filled. The service was fast got in and out in about 15 min there were 2 customers before me. I Will likely come back if I get another tank or when my current one empties in a year or so.”
“The quality and variety of tools is getting much much better. Get paid pretty good tools now at a decent price. Remember many years back when I went to one of these places when they first came out. Cougar of a cheap quality I used to call knuckle breakers. Not anymore worth shopping there.”

I have had this knob worked on by two different people and no one could figure it out. I think they were working on it for 30 minutes straight. I was not expecting that level of customer service! It's ridiculous and fairly inconvenient considering the next closest location is actually, pretty, far away. “I give this business 5 stars! They didn't initially have the product I was looking for at their site, however it was in another sites location quite some distance from me and I ride public transit....u get the picture.At this juncture Mrs. Eppi Thong could of wished me luck and told me to have a nice day......however that's not what actually took place and I won't go into extreme detail but Mrs. Eppi Thong not only had the product I was looking for transfered to her site location in Santa Fe Springs but it was there in two business days at no out of pocket cost to me, which is a big deal I'm a new small business owner so every dollar counts. It left a high standard of excellent customer service and I only hope to have her skills and abilities in my working with other business owners as I venture out to represent my window cleaning business and the way I hope to deal with several others in the future. Great experience here, I will return in the future soley on my minimul interactions with Mrs. Eppi Thong.”

“This is A Great Store! Doesn't look like much from the street (careful you don't miss it!), and it's not Huge inside. But they absolutely know the right stuff to stock. This recent trip I needed 3/4" drop-in concrete anchors. Not a common item. HD didn't have it. Not even Hilti stocked them. I should've came to this Ace Hardware 1st. Not the only time this location has surprised me. Only store better for heavy duty hardware are places like McFadden & Dale's which are few & far between. The place feels a little crampt, but that's ok as long as they keep stocking the right stuff. Found some good commercial sized fuses & hard to find brass fittings there as well. Chances are, LB Johnson's got what you're looking for!”
