Our Durham Post Office gives the best service. Always helpful and courteous. The new lockers for large items is really helpful. No longer have to wait in line to pickup.

I will 2nd the reviews already posted here. I use this services of this post office though I live in Chico. They have enough staff to handle the needs of its patrons and Chico needs a 3rd post office, no argument against that, they are overwhelmed w more users. If you are a stamp collector, they feature releases earlier that the Chico post offices. Even at its busiest, they still manage to accommodate the public well. I like the art work featured on the walls and the architecture. I've been in lines at the Vallombrosa Location in Chico that would go to the entrance and some people w packages would get impatient w the long waits and storm out. There hasn't always been enough staff to accommodate the flow. Before when Chico was smaller, one person at the front desk at busier times, would've been practical. My only complaint and it's in the spirit of constructive criticism, no one at fault here, it's Durham. It would help if they could expand the parking lot as it can fill up on busier times. Durham is getting busier in afternoons. Don't see how they can but you can park at any of the side streets and for free. Free parking downtown Chico is getting harder to find. It may also help if they were open on Sat as Durham is growing but that is me. If you're feeling frustrated w long lines at the Chico post offices, come on down to the Durham post office.

Best Post Office ever. I really hope the US post office keeps the offices in small-town's. They are closing so many post offices but the best experience and the best service happens at the smaller facilities. I'm so glad Durham has this place. The people are very friendly and really work hard. They actually care about your day and appreciate their jobs. This is a rare experience in a US post office. Very grateful.

The employees remember me even when I call with issues. They will go out of their way to help. I live out of town and they are willing to help with my issues when the website has payment or technical issues. I would give the USPS website and automated phone service a zero, but the people who work at this Post Office go above and beyond while being understanding and caring.
