Active Shooter Defense School provides amazing and fantastic classes, including pistol and rifle courses such as Combat Pistol 1.0. The instructors are great, patient, fun, and thorough, with immense and extensive combined experience. They make the training fun yet challenging, keeping students engaged and interested. The classes are outstanding experiences, well-rounded, and highly recommended. They are suitable for all levels, from those with a basic or self-taught skill set to those with over a decade of shooting experience or no skills whatsoever. The instructors provide easily digestible content and focus on important details and comprehensive skills that students may not have practiced before. Students walk away with a lot of information, a comprehensive skill set, and the knowledge needed to continue training independently to hone proficiency. Attendees leave feeling much more comfortable, encouraged, and excited to continue building their skills. It is described as one of the best experiences in terms of knowledge acquisition and application. For anyone on the fence about attending a firearms class, the advice is to pull the trigger and do it, as students will learn so much and have the best time.
This class was amazing! Jamie is such a great teacher. I've been shooting for over a decade, but he made me think about little details that I never practiced before. I strongly recommend his classes.

I attended a training today that will be the first of many. It was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in terms of knowledge acquisition and application and I can’t wait to begin attending other courses.

My wife and I just finished our second course with ASDS. If you’re looking to be safer, more proficient and/,or just plain better — this is the place. Matt, Chris, and Jaime are impressively qualified, and excellent instructors. We will be back for more.
