WARNING: UNUSUALLY STRINGENT RETURN POLICY. It will refuse to accept ANY returns of certain products - items that every other retailer accepts based on my past experience. The policy is NOT verbally disclosed at checkout and is apparently hidden in fine print on the receipt (which the customer gets AFTER the purchase). This practice is so repugnant to me that they have lost my family as customers -- just based on the principle that such a company would deceive consumers in such a way. Distasteful.

Hanna was very rude. Signage clearly stated clearance was an extra 50% off . As an employee, it was her duty to walk over to the sign and verify what was stated. Instead, she rang it up and kept saying what it said in the system. I shouldn’t have made the purchase off rhat alone but I like the store so I went ahead and bought it anyway. I handed her the money and as she was giving the change, she didn’t have the common decency to hand the change back, she just set it on the counter. I understand COVID is prevalent but she could’ve handed me the receipt first then put the change on top SMH. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Came here on a Monday afternoon . There's literally 3 people in the store , not a single hello was said . Came to buy a longboard and there's no skateboards an longboards at all . Wtf kind of skate/surf store is this ?

I have to start by saying that the floor staff is really friendly and mad it a point to say hello and asked me if I needed any help when I was shopping. That being said. Read the fine print on their sale signs! Over $300 of clothes and shoes here the other day for myself and my kids. There is a holiday sale going on that if you spend $100 in the store you get $20 off your order. But what they don't tell you is that you don't get the sale prices on anything else you bought if you get the $20 off. So I spent over $300 and only got the original 20 and all my other items that were on sal were charged at full price! I was like WTF? I returned the items back to the store that were supposedly on sale and asked why I was charged full price when they are on sale and the manager just said well the $20 off is the better deal so you only get the $20 off? So I asked her if my wife had paid for the other stuff separately, and I bought the sale items separately would I have gotten the discounts, she just said yea I guess... I'd have to say the manager there was not very helpful at all, and seemed annoyed that I was even bringing up any sort of an issue. I am just surprised at a time like this when a lot of people are struggling to survive and spread thin because of Tempe economy and covid, and countless other things. Not to mention that brick and mortar stores are in constant competition with Amazon and online shopping, that these stores don't do more to help their customers get the best deals. The more you help people get what they need and make them feel like you are trying to take care of them, the more the will come back and the more they will buy and their friends will too. I don't think I will be returning to this store anytime soon. Just make sure that you check your receipt if you visit this store.

If I wasn't desperate for a bathing suit for my kid, I'd walk out and never come back. The service here is absolutely unacceptable.

TOTAL LIARS!!! Suckered me into buying a Jansport backpack from them by saying they would honor the lifetime warranty and they would exchange it instead of making us send it back to Jansport if something happened. When my backpack started to rip, I requested this service and they refused to help in ANY way. AVOID AVOID AVOID, horrible customer service and blatant lies!!!

It's really disappointing because this is such a cute store, but their customer service is horrible. They must not get trained well because it seems like they have no idea how to do returns and exchanges. I've also had them order the wrong the wrong size T-shirt. The cashier ended up ordering the same size that I had returned. They really have no idea what they're doing here and there's no need to help anybody in any timely manner. They work at their own pace.

Great selection, but Holy cow this store sucks. If you choose to shop for a backpack, be prepared for stupidity in shopping. I'm sorry that I can't give less than one star.

I went in to exchange a pair of shorts for a bigger size and Aaron assured me not only was the back room unstocked, but that everything was out on the floor. He then proceeded to do my exchange, and said that they would order the size i needed and ship it to my house. I decided to take that route and not only did he have trouble processing the exchange, he overcharged me. I made sure the item would be in the same size and color I wanted them in and he assured me of that. When I got my online receipt, not only did it show that they were not the correct size, but now the correct color. This store has terrible service and I will be using another location, no matter the 10 mile addition.

Bad customer service!!! My daughter and I walked in and no one came to assist us or ask us if we needed help. They were just standing around talking. Very disappointed in such a brand name store!

Service is really poor here. They mark discounts and pricing in a get mis-leading way and then act condescending when you ask to clarify. Alex at customer service gave two customers in front of me bags at no charge(even when offered to pay) and then when I asked him for a free bag he denied doing that. I mean, I was 12" away during their transaction... I asked him about the items that were on the same shelf and he told me I had to go look for Alejandra in the store. Really, I have to track down the manger "somewhere in the store"??? Alejandra was also rude and told me that the sign was only for specific items, even though all the items had a BIG 50% sign above them.
