I took my car to the Honda dealership in Dublin. They quoted me $1200 and misdiagnosed my car. I took it to Ray and not only was he so kind but charged me a fraction of the cost that Honda tried to scam me for. I highly recommend Ray and his team.

Made an appointment with Ray a week ago for 10am. He wasn't there yet so I came back at 10:30 still wasn't there and no one was interested in helping or even getting off their chair to help me. Went to a San Ramon repair shop. Never again will I attempt to work with Ray's Auto Service

If you are looking for a mechanic shop with reliable staff, great results, and fair pricing, you must try Ray's. Although, they're usually overbooked as is. I've taken my car to this shop for different issues, and every time they've fixed it, I never had to worry about those problems again. When it came to finding a good auto repair shop, one of my biggest concerns was being overcharged for parts and labor. I don't worry about that with Ray anymore. For example, In my last visit, based on the symptoms of my car's problem, I guessed the root cause and was prepared to pay about $1200. He ran a diagnosis and found out the issue was something much smaller and much cheaper to fix. One really good thing I like about Ray is how he explains the issue to you and walks you through what was wrong. I also like how clean and organized his shop is. Totally recommend!

Had my car broke down and brought it to "the family mechanic" Ray took a look and listen and knew what it was right away. Car was fixed and back in the road the next day!

Came here from a recommendation from my mechanic to get my AC checked and fixed. Overall service was great and price was reasonable. Only issue I had was when I made my appointment they didn't inform me that they would need my truck for majority of the day to run a diagnostic check. So I went for my appointment at 8am, and waited around for about 2 hours before asking how long it was going to take since they had not pulled my truck in yet, and thats when I was informed they would need it all day. Was a little frustrated with finding out last minute as I did not have arrangements in place to leave my truck there. But after all of that, they were able to run the diagnostic, find the issue, fix it same day and got my truck back before the end of day. Staff were all friendly and was still happy with the service overall.

Always friendly. Consistent service. They don't overcharge you. Call early since their calendar fills up quick!
