My husband has become handicap which means the chores he used to do and the errands he used to run are now mine. Obviously I have not spent my life in the home Depot or Lowe's or other home improvement stores. So I walked in needing to find some things for our new house and was horribly confused. Scroll forward to my finding the most amazing human being ever! Jen who works in the blinds and shades area. At least I think that's right asked me if I needed help and admittedly reluctantly I told her what the situation was.She not only was able to tell me where everything I needed was but she went with me and helped me find viable solutions which included buying a large butcher block board and cutting it down to size. Everyone I worked with today went above and beyond the call of duty to help me, especially since I was so confused and I am tremendously grateful for all of them!

I wished to purchase a water heater from Lowes in Dublin CA.My intended water heater was showing as 'in stock' at Dublin Lowes.The sales person offered to open a credit card account with Lowes so that I can get a 5% discount, BEFORE I purchase the water heater.I opened the credit card account, right there.It turned out that the store did not have the heater that I wanted, even though it showed up as in-stock.So, the sales person contacted the installer. The installer had the intended water heater. So, the Lowes sales person said that he cannot offer the 5% discount since he is not selling it to me.However, he assured that the installer will offer the same 5% discount.Eventually, the water heater was installed, and the installer was willing to offer the 5% discount, provided that I pay him using Lowes credit card.When I actually received the Lowes credit card, and I tried to pay the installer using the card, the card was declined.Reason? it was a Lowes Business Card. And the installer could only process the Lowes Personal Credit card.I went to the Dublin Lowes again, however, the staff there was not in a mood to help me.Since I did not want to keep the installer waiting too long for payment, I just paid him using my regular credit card.So, at the end of the day, I did NOT get the 5% discount that I was promised, with the Lowes card.Now, whose problem is it? I believe, it's the Lowes Sales person.He should have checked the availability of the water heater beforehand.He should have known, which card is acceptable at the installer, since he deals with the installer all the time.He should have offered some help, when I told him the problem with the card. He did nothing of it.I will think 100 times before dealing with Lowes again.

How can the corporation keep the sub par ~going. Think about this, Lowes bought one of my favorite stores OSH and a California Classic. Once they bought it, they destroyed it. OSH had been around for 50years +, it took the acquisition by Lowes to shut down all OSH stores within months. Loews is not anything but a non supportive, lack of knowledge store.The Dublin store is worst at best, never shop at this store, especially if you need support with your project

The Dublin Lows is the most incoherent group of people working. you can never get any real help. The manager isn't helpful. I've tried to buy certain items and they were defective and taking them back was a nightmare. The manager literally tried to deny me my refund! But after getting store credit I ordered carpet with store credit which was a month and a half ago and was supposed to be in on the first or now on the 15th and you get no help whatsoever or information as to what's going on. This Lowes needs a whole new staff working there really sucks.

Lowe's is making a false advertising statement by promising the delivery of big items they do not have in stock and harassing me for multiple days with emails and text messages as if they were going to deliver the item I had ordered. Their phone customer center, website, and store are all giving different information, but they all said it would be delivered in a delivery window. Lowe's website promised me a next day delivery of a fridge when I ordered it. They asked me to prepare my old fridge for a haul-away service by removing items inside, clearing around the area, and availing my time away from work and other activities. First, they emailed and texted me the delivery time window 8 am - 12 pm next day. Then, while waiting, I got an email of sudden delivery cancellation. They asked me to reschedule delivery. Again, the following day, we had to head home early for the delivery time, then they did not show up but sent me a new updated delivery time, later afternoon, then later evening. The website track package, Lowe's call center, and talking to an associate on the phone, they all said it would be delivered that day, just late. We waited till late night, nothing, no update. Next day after two days of this lost work and food items that we had to remove from the old fridge, there was no notice or email about delivery, and everything was silent. We had to go to the fulfilling store, taking more time to deal with this order from our work hours, to talk to a store associate who found the item marked as missing in their system. They said the item is not in their stock, but it should come to the store after a week or so.Because of Lowe's false advertisement, we lost an opportunity to buy the item from other stores at the same discount, which has now expired, and we lost our work hours and food items while waiting and prepping for the falsely promised delivery for multiple days, and we were harassed by emailing/texting systems that sent us false information.

On Friday 5/12/2023 at 7:30pm I went to the store to return an unused bucket and the blonde teenage female clerk embarrassed me by asking two other workers if I could return this bucket. My hands were sweaty and that was the reason for the bucket being wet. The clerk told me that it was not eligible for return, and instead of saying sorry to me, she told me, "makes sense?" Thanks for the disrespect Lowes. You lost a customer and I'm going to Home Depot!

NO wonder why the reviews are so low. Don't care about water in the aisles and can never get someone on the phone. Terrible. I'l go to HOME DEPOT

I purchased 2 Milgard windows 2/21 and had them installed by Lowe's Dubin -authorized installer. I purchased the Milgard Trinsic Series Vinyl windows because I was told they have a "lifetime" warranty.The window started leaking between frame and glass after the heavy rain we had in January of this year. We had essentially no rain until this year. The window leaks and Lowe's says it only guarantees install for 1 year. Milgard says it is in installation problem although they have never inspected the window. NEVER purchase anything that is installed through a 3rd party installer. Lowe's and Milgard treat it as a loophole to get out of fixing anything. Lowe's won't inspect installation. Milgard took 7 weeks to call back after filing a claim and was very dismissive. I will never buy anything from Lowe's again. Beware.

5+ trips in 3 month, received consistent great service that went above and beyond!I don't understand why so many negative reviews for this Lowe's, since I moved here few month ago, it's been so great to have this close for the convenience and more importantly great service but kind staff that I can rely on!One time, Nick helped answer my endless questions in my pursue of a smart lock that fit my needs! Another time, a very friendly lady staff (sorry I forgot your name) helped me by my first propane tank, and got another male staff to help take it to my car!Tonight, Edgar patiently helped me pick out a 5gl Lowe's bucket that fit the lid, for whatever reason we had to try a bunch as they weren't able to close properly, this took a while, but he was so patient!Grateful to have this place near by to help ease all the homeowner chores!

Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot instead. This Lowes is super unhelpful. We tried to buy a bathroom vanity and no body wanted to help us. Fed up, we decided to place and order for pick up instead. We came to pick up our item and they mysteriously lost it. How does this happen? We went back to the shelves and saw they took the item off, where would they leave it?There was one employee who was very sassy too, there's no place for that attitude. Something needs to be done regarding the lack of service here, otherwise retail will die and consumers will bypass attitudes and shop online instead.

At this point, I would not recommend Lowe's for buying carpet. The carpet quality looks nice (I have a pet), but the process will take twice as long as I was told... so far. I hear one customer from the Dublin store has been waiting about 3 months for their carpet to arrive!?! I'm very concerned that I will need to cancel my order and will not be getting any carpet at all after so much effort and shopping around at different locations. Several sales associates in Dublin, including a manager, told me that the whole process would take approx 4 weeks... Now, 2 weeks later, I'm told 1-2 months, if more delays happen? Whaaat? I was told a week ago, when I called the store, that the carpet would arrive last Friday? That's a 3 week delay?!? On top of that, when I called to ask what happened and why shipping the carpet has been delayed over 2 more weeks, I'm told by a manager (Jared) that "there must have been a misunderstanding."... and he kept repeating it, which just frustrated me further. No. No misunderstanding... I asked very clearly: "How long does shipping and installation take, for the entire process to be done?"... And I was told a clear answer several different times. No misunderstanding on either side... just poor follow-through. If my carpet order continues to be delayed past July 28th, I will update this post. If it arrives on time (new expected time), I will also update. Now, I have to call all of my other orders to postpone shipping, to keep the area clear. Do not buy your carpet at Lowe's unless you want to wait months for completion. I don't understand why my order can't be expedited for the store to follow through on what was told to me originally. It's not looking good for me right now. I really, really hope the follow up to this review gets more positive, and not less. UPDATE 7/20/22: Looks like shipping has moved up a week. Whew! My 1 star is ready to add many more stars. Feeling relieved and hopeful/positive. (TBD)

These 5 stars are only for Lovinia due that not only EXCELLENT SERVICE but she WORKS HARD unlike others. She looks for what's BETTER FOR THE CUSTOMER and find options! Not close minded and lazy ppl that look for what's easy for them. This woman not only needs a fat raise but a promotion, she needs to be store manager!!!

This review is for Samuel Browne. I never leave reviews for a department store, but Sam deserves 10 stars if I could. He helped my mom for 4 straight hours! She had a lot of stuff to buy and her he patiently spent the time to find everything she was looking for. He helped her gather 4 big carts worth of items. Not only that, she realized there was a discount after she had already checked out most items, and he PATIENTLY helped to re-check out those items with the discount. I have never had a sales associate go so above and beyond like this before. Samuel, you are amazing and I hope there are more like you! Thank you so much for what you do!
