Not sure it is a Monday low traffic day therefore they do not have enough people working or what, I could hardly see someone to ask for help.

Bought a bag of soil that had a terrible smell of mildew and mold when I opened it. When I returned to the store for a refund the rude manager refused to accept it because it was opened, despite the fact that it was clearly defective.
If you buy a defective item from this Lowe’s they will NOT take it back even if it's clearly defective. Horrible customer service.

It is very easy to use lockers to pick up. One item was the wrong thing but was easy to return.

I often go to the other big box store but the item that I needed was only available at this Lowe's. It was sort of an out of the way location and there really wasn't anybody there. So in comparison to the other, this was a less frenzied shopping experience. Comparatively speaking, It's cleaner and I found the associates more helpful. More available. I don't really have a Lowe's near where I live or I think that I would shop there more frequently. Basically all in all I liked it much more. Since it was just a single visit, I can't comment on availability of the many other things that I often use or the price comparisons. Really that's why I only gave 4 stars.

We bought a smoke/CO detector here, only to have it be defective once installed (it gave the defective 3 beeps). Their customer service said ‘we didn’t know it was broken when we sold it’ and refused to take it back because it was opened. We even had them listen to the 3 beeps and STILL they wouldn’t.
They told us to call first alert because they were too lazy to. I did in front of them, and the Lowe’s employee said they needed an RA number… the customer service from first alert had no clue what that was. After all that hassle, first alert ended up sending us a new one for free that works.
CAUTION: If you buy a defective product from this Lowe’s they WILL NOT take it back even if you show them to their face that it’s defective. Worst customer service experience I’ve had in a looong time. Won’t be back here, I’ll try Amazon or Costco next time.

1 star only because I had to. Very bad customer service from the manager. I won't be back for sure. Also, Lowes should think about putting their return policy on the receipt, instead they want you to go online to check their return policy ?
Hmm, so I want to know who has time for that ?

Murphy, in the Dublin CA store, knows and shows what customer service is. We bought 12 bags of mulch. He loaded them on a flat bed wheeler then loaded them into our truck. I offered a small gratuity and he would not accept. Thank you Murphy!

Gino from customer service who service for our country and wears a camo vest provided me with the best experience, he helped me with my project and gave me suggestions. He was patient and kind, thank you Gino!
