I went here the other day with my mom and Colleen (I think that was is name,she was cutting the fabric)was so helpful in finding just what my mom was looking for. We got some good sales too!

Joann has been hit or miss in customer service. Depending on who you get in the register, they either deny your return or they take your returns. I've complained to customer service on line and they are super supportive. It's unfortunate it's the close to my house in Dublin, Ca. Livermore is preferred but it out of the way for me

I've been here a couple times recently and have had mostly positive experiences! I've been greeted promptly every time I've come in and the store is generally pretty well-stocked. (They were missing some things I was looking for, but this is not their fault since they're out because of the people who've been stealing those products. -_- ) In any case, I love that there are always deals + coupons (my wallet does not love this though). It can be hard to find a free employee because they're usually busy cutting fabric/ringing up a long line at the register. I don't think this is their fault either though, as they're working with what they have. The staff has always been super friendly/helpful whenever I have been able to find someone to ask a question to.

Heather was absolutely kind and helpful! She never overstepped while helping us multiple times with advice on thread, patterns, and fabric. I definitely will come back for her recommendations in the future.

Well, it looks like I get to provide an additional glowing one-star review. I'm never going back here again. I don't need to be ridiculed by your checker for not rounding up my purchase for charity. It's the holiday season, I've already done a lot of giving to charity and fundraising. I'd love to see evidence of how much you've donated, lady. Even calling to report about it, I was met with attitude - it's a prerequisite to be a bitter old person to work here, apparently. On the bright side- ageism isn't at play when hiring- kudos!

Went to get fabric cut. Never was called named and got skipped. Once I asked about it, got some very rub comments from the employees. Clearly should have read reviews when it says 2 star to begin with. Who cares about crafts to begin with

Livermore location is closing in Jan. Dublin is 1 of few places left for crafts and fabrics. Has seasonal decorations.

Service pretty much sucks at this location. The girl cutting the fabric is so angry and doesn't work well under pressure. Snapping at people isn't the way toward customer retention. She needs to be retrained if she was ever trained in customer service in the first place. What's worse is I heard they're closing the Livermore store where the staff is so friendly and helpful and keeping this store open. It really goes to show you how mismanaged and out of touch this company is. All that being said, this store has a better selection of yarn.

I sure do miss Kenneth, but everyone here is great and always there to help. I'm always all over the place with my crafting. No matter what I'm into at the time, they will be fully stocked with what I need.

My experience here has always been great. Not sure why the reviews here are so awful. Maybe because of the long lines?? That's all I could think of. For some reason there's only 2 people working the registers at a time. But other than that, it's pretty clean. People are nice. And I love how the store is organized.
