I just recently opened an account with Citi Bank and was treated with such great customer service I had to leave a review. Even after opening my account I had troubles with my card the manager and Joann helped me take care of the problem. Juliana was my personal banker who opened my account and was so fun and pleasant to deal with

My CD matured on 01/07/24 and are supposed to give you 7 days. I showed up to withdraw my CD on 1/13/24 But they already renew my CD for another year with lower rates. When I demand to close my account they short me $379.05. That is out right theft.

The most rude and unprofessional staff I have ever experienced. The names of the rude staff are Juliana Rothman and Sandra Pulido. Juliana blatantly lied repeatedly with no shame. The manager is apparently on vacation so they don't care since the customers can't complain. Will be complaining to the manager as soon as they return and closing my accounts if these two are still working there.

While I don't have an account here, I am starting to pay some of my bills along with my family's since it saves me a few stamps in the end run and so that I can push paying my credit card bill until near the very end of its due date. The park in front of the bank is a tad quirky imo and it's one way so when backing out I've seen people zip in and out fairly quick, but beyond their parking lot, there is a huge parking lot that's in the surrounding area due to the shopping center. The banking hrs are or I feel just a tad off and imo they open up late (open at 10am) and like Saturday they close at 2pm. Anyways, the cashiers all seem very friendly and helpful and besides being a small branch like many others, the line can get pretty long if you come in at the wrong time.

Absolute nightmare trying to order foreign currency from a "global" bank. I am a Citi Priority member which is lipstick on a pig. You get routed to an agent on a low cost country who reads rote procedures that are incorrect. They say if you don't pick it up after 10 days it is returned to your account at no cost Nope. I had to pick it up after my trip and was charged fx conversion fees on both sides of the transaction. On my current trip I spent 25 minutes trying to order some euros and when confirming the transaction the agent specified an incorrect branch in another town. She said I need to call tomorrow to cancel it. Terrible service. No wonder that their stock trades at $4 bucks pre the 10 for 1 reverse split years ago.

I guess it all started with me having a bad day. My 3 appointments that day took so much time because of traffic. I was not in a good mood. I noticed the line at the bank onlyhad only one teller and it was kind of annoying me. Then, within 2 minutes of me waiting, I get approached by a man working at the bank named Jerry. He apologized for the delay and literally stood by the line to help manage it. I did hear from two associates they had a couple of people on time off or sick. They also apologized. Anyway, I asked Jerry if they was any way he could help. He literally said "sure follow me". We both go outside and he leads me to the ATM. He guided me through and had me on my way in 1 minute. When I left I told him you would be hearing from me. I believe he thought I would complain but its the exact opposite. I could not be more impressed with Jerry. I ask him as I was leaving what his position was and he simply responded " I am the bank manager". Wouldnt you know it. I will direct more of my banking needs with Citibank in the future. All because he showed he cared.

Super rude tellers, had a business check and they first refused to even help, then after pushing them on the attitude and reason why sent us to San Ramon. Both tellers were on phones and acted like they were being bothered to assist in any way. Horrible experience!! I was forced to give one star in order to post, they deserve zero stars.

I tried to cash my check distributed by my job through Citi bank. They refused to cash it and sent me to the San Ramon Location. I got to San Ramon and the manager that approves checks was on vacation. So no one could cash my check. This bank needs better policies it sucks!

I get excellent and personal service every time I come in. I enjoy seeing familiar friendly tellers.I’ve been going to this branch for a very long time.

Citibank service, both online and in-person is so bad, that I have decided to close my accoun. They didn't communicate a basic information to me regarding my eligibility to receive a one-time cash bonus from them, which was 3 months overdue. I called them on 1888 number several times, plus visited their Dublin Blvd branch twice regarding this matter, but no one told me that I wasn't eligible to receive the bonus. Had they conveyed this to me when I reacted out, I would have saved a lot of my time and peace of mind. I will advice my friends to stay away from Citibank.

My overseas friends needed a bank account and they picked Citi. They had family using Citi so they thought it would be convenient to transfer money with the same bank. They were told twice they did not have proper proof of address. On their third visit, another person helped them and explained they had the correct information from the start and had no idea why the coworker had an issue making a bank account for them. Great!Well that was 2 hours and 15 minutes ago. They couldn't get the manager to approve the paperwork because they are located in another branch and won't respond. They got past that. Now they are finalizing the paperwork which is taking way too long. How does Citi survive when people want to give them money but they make customers visit three times and spend more than two hours to make a simple checking account? I've helped other friends at Wells Fargo and it took less than 30 minute from saying hello to leaving. I setup a new account at a credit union recently and again, less than 30 minutes.

Very poor service. They lack tellers. One teller handles all walk in transactions. They need 2 more tellers at least. There is a line out the door.

Brought in my POA (power of attorney) to add to an account. Citibank has their own form for this, but since my POA was completed elsewhere, all that was left to do was submit it to Citibank's legal department for review. Fanny was the perfect professional. She went over the policy with me and let me know it would be about 2 days to hear back from legal. 2 days later Fanny called with the approval and set up an appointment for the final signing. Having had an account with Citibank for over 18 years, I've done transactions at many branches. Dublin branch is my go-to for weekly business as it has consistently had the greatest customer service experience over the others.

Citi service is very spotty. Some folks at the location are awesome and then there are some that are perpetually MIA, including one of my Citi Gold Relationship Manager who's never available either on the phone or even emails. So it's a touch and go--depends what transactions you are doing with Citi. But on the whole, I'd look for another bank or branch.
