1st time here, meet Amy 1st & our today's banking was finished by Sisi Z. They both very professional, friendly and detailed. great experience with this branch today, gave especially a two thumbs up to Sisi Z. Yes, 100% recommended Cathay bank especially the Dublin branch.

I been with this branch forever and I really like the easy parking, no lines and the staff there are really nice. Perhaps not as fast as other branches, but all the positives outweighs the negatives.

If it wasn't for my elderly mom who insisted on keeping her account with Cathay, I would've shut down her account and moved her to Wells Fargo or Chase. The older lady who sits at a desk in the corner is rude and not helpful at all. The ladies at the teller are slower than molasses for basic transactions such as depositing a check! I don't even know how they stay in business

If I could give 0 * I would. Worst bank I have ever dealt with. My account got transferred from HSBC to Cathay (not my choice) Customer support, branch support is poor. Many don't speak or understand English well. After months of agony I decided to close the account. The local branch insisted I have to come in physically ... yes, in this modern digital age, they want me to drive, spend 1.5hrs just to close an account. Or they said transfer ALL funds online to another bank. So I did. The next day found out they cancelled my online transaction. No phone, email communication with me. I called them AGAIN - was told they don't have a process of communicating with customers. Argh! Spent 30min with a customer service rep to again transfer monies. HOPE they don't cancel this time. UPDATE - interesting response below from Cathay Bank. They want me to CALL THEM after all the pain I've gone through rather than calling me to understand, perhaps address the situation in some way. No thanks
