Had alot of work done to our car,which we were over charged and the car still was not fixed.ennding up having to take it to another mechanic and paid more money to get it right. I contacted Bacchus and told him what happened and he said he would give us our money back ! Never did ! Not a man of his word !!!!Service: Transmission

Rover owners alike agree that Sheikh and Bacchus British are excellent. They service my vintage Defender 90 and newer Overfinch. Sheikh is also glad to coordinate with EasyCare on warranty items which I appreciate as well. The advice is down to earth and trustworthy. If you like and drive British cars, you should know them. Happy motoring!

Worth looking at this shop for your car needs. They are genuine and know their stuff. While they do some very high end work that is quite lucrative, i.e full rebuilds for custom cars, 150K+, they work also with those of us who enjoy driving and maintaining the older LR's that quite frankly are not worth that much $, relatively speaking, but are lovely to drive. Personally over the years they have identified and worked out issues for me such as drive train, belt, air compressor replacement, etc. They do a thorough job at a pretty reasonable rate. Its gotten more expensive over the years on an hourly basis, but seems like everything has. If you go, note that it is pertinent you are patient as the shop is very busy- the job might take a few weeks+ before completion. All in all, if you do not have the expertise required for some of the more boutique or taxing work and/or just want to go somewhere that they enjoy and are passionate about European cars and LR's. This is a great place. That said, if you are farther than 60 minutes by car, I would recommend to evaluate closer shops as I'm guessing there are others with similar staff and output as this is the bay area. (As well as others that would totally take you for a ride with unnecessary costs, so maybe you drive up to 1.5 hours here :P) Personally I drive 30 minutes which I find quite reasonable and feel glad to have found them as the previous service company to my used car that I purchased.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Proud of their work.I went to this shop after my car broke down. The work was done timely. I found an issue with the work as my engine kept heating up. I took it back to the shop after few months and the shop fixed it at no cost. They take pride in their work.Service: Electrical repair

I have been going here for more than a year now and absolutely trust him. He is a a Jaguar guru and much more reasonable in price than the dealers.I recommend him highly and would not trust my car to anyone else.

I originally had a service scheduled with Cole European in WC. My car was dead, I called to see if I could have it towed there early and very short and rude the assistant on the phone said "No just show up on your apt date". I then called Sheik over at Bacchus, he said I could bring it in whenever I had time. Cole European never called to check when I was a no show for my apt, I assumed they would have but guess not. Sheik kept me informed of their findings and was able to use my warranty coverage for the repair. His customer service was amazing, which is hard to find these days. My vehicle is fixed, I got a line item receipt clearly showing what was replaced, repaired, and labor costs. My Range came back clean inside and out, how I brought it to him, no greasy mechanic marks and they even reset the date and time when they replaced the battery. I am very pleased with the experience I had and will be doing all my future services here. Thank you Sheik!

Simply the only shop to use if you have a Rover. I still call for advice even though I’ve been traveling for 3 years which btw I did with my Disco 2 after Sheik made the engine whole, new gaskets, pumps, wires, et at 135k. Hitting stride at 170k now and it’s still running great!Services: Auto battery maintenance

OK... I can go on about Sheik... suffice it to say that I live in San Francisco and will go out of my way to take it to Dublin. Sheik is such a great mechanic that I now own 5 Jags without the fear that once repaired they will fail again. He gets the job done right the first time, and has gone above and beyond to satisfy the customer. He even provides a loaner car!!! I got to know Sheik because when I first bought my Jag back in 2003 from SF British Motors Sheik did work on my car while under warranty. Thus, Sheik started his career at a distinguished and reputable facility as a licensed master mechanic for Jags and has now EARNED a Diamond Certified status... a very difficult status to achieve. Perhaps that's the reason he can tackle really tough jobs that "experienced mechanics" fail to resolve. On my jags' he's fixed complicated electrical problems, repaired blown head gaskets, timing tensioners, radiator replacements and regular maintenance things... all without a hitch!!! Give him a chance and you won't regret the distance needed to travel to his shop nor the addition of another cat in the garage. Thanks Sheik!!!
