Nice little store and I was sold on how fresh and delicious the kimchi is here which will keep me coming back to stock up lol. I tried some of the frozen goods and soups too and loved em. Definitely some things I haven't seen typically sold at grocers (soondae, haejang...). Great place, friendly people working here as well.

I visited an Angus butcher shop after a long time because the quality of Costco's pork belly wasn't very good. I heard that they sell trick-or-treating products that you only see in Korea here. When I opened the pork belly, I found that it was cleverly made of fat... The pork belly was folded in half, so I turned it over and saw the fat... I'm leaving with a lot of disappointment. If things continue like this, there's no reason to go.I totally got ripped off. If i could, i would give them -5 stars. Look at that meat-fat ratio. I've never seen pork jowl having lots of fat like this. This is the worst pork jowl and belly i’ve ever seen for the price.

Hot pots and side dishes sold refrigerated are fresh and delicious. On the other hand, frozen soups were sometimes old and not always delicious. I was disappointed in the beef radish soup I bought recently because the radish was so old that it was almost shriveled like a dried radish, and the beef contained only the tough parts attached to the bones, not the lean meat. I don't think it was like this before... I don't think I'll ever buy beef radish soup anymore.

They have Spicy Crab available. It's spicy, sweet, and the texture is like softer raw scallop. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It gets pretty messy, so I recommend using gloves when eating this dish.I'll have to review the meat and frozen soups after I try them.

Korean butcherI find it so exciting to see Korean businesses continuing to expand and open in Dublin. We were in need of a Korean butcher and Angus has filled that void. The meat quality is excellent. I bought some LA kalbi cuts, chadol brisket and they definitely are superior to what you find in the large supermarkets. The marbling is great and there's not too much fat on their cuts. We grilled it up that night and it was delicious. They also do specials on marinated kalbi, I pre-ordered a few pounds. I cannot wait to pick it up!

So easy to cook your own korean hot pot at home with all the ingredients preset for you along with soup and sauce. We tried the octopus and beef hot pot set. It was delicious and easy to cook. The aluminum circle tray can be cook right on the gas stove. The portion size is right for 4 people. It also comes with one pack of frozen udon. You can easily add more udon so it's more filling for 4 people. We will come back again to try other flavors.

I have been there for multiple times. Love the idea of the prepackaged meal. It can't go wrong with hot pot in the winter time. Their bbq meats are conveniently packaged. Perfect portion for family of 3-4. The ingredients are always fresh. It is recommended to call ahead to make sure they have the dish(es) you want. Price is fair. The gentlemen work there is friendly and answer my question. I always want to try their kimbap or other hot food but never get a chance.

I always get the "Beef Tripe Hot Pot" (Gopchang Jeongol). They never fail to disappoint HOWEVER,ever since they increased the price, I can see that they also significantly reduced the portion.I picked one up yesterday and the entire meal kit was 70% frozen (beef tripe, veggies, etc.)That was already disappointing. It used to have a good balance of combinations but I noticed that they filled up the entire meal kit mostly with "radish and cabbage". It was so much that I had to throw them away, which I never did with past orders.Rice cakes, tofu, spicy peppers, and zucchinis were included in such a small portion.I think I only found a couple of small blocks of tofu in that entire meal kit. They also got rid of "water celery" and put 2 perilla leaves.I feel like I paid $37.99 just for the "Beef Tripe".Really don't like dishonest business....

Saw this place on yelp and decided to check it out. It's in the same shopping center as Go Goong korean restaurants and Paris Baguette.Plenty of parking during the day. This is not a sit down place. So do not expect to be able to eat here. I looked for the ready to eat meat package but they don't seem to carry any. They have lots of marinated meats and vegetables kimchis. Also lots of banchan options. They have wagyu beef slices, tomahawk steak and lamb slices etc. The types of meat available is quite interesting. This month they have a special in shabu shabu kit. Which includes veggies, soup and sauce. Meat is extra which you can pick from the large array of options.I tried several items:Bibimbap veggies pack $12.99Side dish combo $3.99Fish cake $6.49/lbFresh cabbage kimchi $5.99/lbMarinated pork collar butt (bulgogi) $18.99/lbI can't say about the taste of the bulgogi as I've not cooked it yet but I see that it has quite a bit of marinate in it. Which makes me feel like I'm paying $19/lb for marinate too.But I'll update after I taste. My favorite purchase is the veggies for bibimbap. I've attached pic, it contains a variety of banchans. Every one of them is delicious. It doesn't include rice of course but for $13 I think you can get 2 meals easy when you add your own rice. I added some fish cake to the veggies and rice for my lunch. They were delicious.I did not check out their premade soups. Although they look great. Lots of options. The lady at the cashier helped answer all my questions.

I'm obsessed with the marinated pickles here! I've bought my third box and am slowly munching through them. I add them as a side dish almost every dinner. I also tried a few of their premade soups/stews, the chicken gingseng soup and clam soup were quite delicious and easily shared among 4 ppl. Can't wait to go back to try the others stews/soups and meat.

Coming across Angus The Butcher Shop on Yelp was such a gem!! I searched up Korean spicy raw marinated crab on Yelp and this is what popped up. Angus The Butcher Shop is a Korean butcher shop, they offer a broad variety of freshly cut meats, a whole lot of banchan, and even some frozen food items too.We originally just came for the crab but ended up walking out with some spicy fish cakes, seaweed salad, and their spicy pork belly too. They take spice SERIOUSLY here - we went home immediately to try everything we got because we were so excited, and the spicy pork belly and the spicy raw marinated crab nearly had us tearing at the eyes but in a good way haha. The crab here was so fresh and is honestly the best raw marinated crab that I've had in the Bay Area. For a little less than $25, the portion was absolutely gigantic - it came with 8+ pieces of half crabs. Eat this with rice to help with the spice though lol!The spicy pork belly was also amazing (and very spicy haha)! The pork had the perfect amount of fattiness. It was generously sauced up so every bite had a whole bunch of flavor. The fish cake and the seaweed salad were only $4 each and we can never resist this, and they were also so good! This initial visit was great, the person who helped us was also really welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
