Yet another amazing experience at America's Tire... The Dublin CA location. Andrew took such great care of me. His customer service skills are unmatched. I went in and told him I needed two front tires, he said that my previous tires wore out too quickly, and he was able to get me $150 off and I was so grateful. Additionally, my car was in and out in 45 minutes, even though I had no appointment. Great job A. T.... Customer For Life!

Very refreshing to find a company that still values customer service. Polite, genuine folks and an excellent streamlined business. Getting tires worked on is actually not a chore here

Good:
- Price matches other sellers like Costco
- Wheel alignment onsite
- Very good technicians and modern equipment
Bad:
- Appointment system needs a huge improvement. My appointment was at 11:30, but my car was taken in only after 12:15 or so. I was told that it would take less than an hour, but the work was completed only around 1:30. The funny thing is that I got a text at 12:50 that my car was ready for pickup when the wheels were not even on the car !! I could see other frustrated customers as well.
If you take 2 hours instead of 1 hour to do something, be honest about it so that people can plan accordingly and do other things instead of sitting and waiting at the shop.

Force (not recommend) to purchase tires when trend depth at 4/32 then reject service of flat tires with trend 4/32. Not recommend for this shop. Sales person only and not service customers.

Very frustrating experience with this location.
My wife had a flat tire, and they refused to patch it and tried to upsell her. Completely changed their tune when I showed up, wasting a few hours of my time.

No problem with the tires or the service, but these guys DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!
I don't want to hear "Let's get you taken care of" 400 times, while I am trying to find out the status of the spare tire I am trying to pick up. YOU HAVE TO ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!

Great service. They repaired my tire which had a nail in it for free. I went to the other brand shop earlier and they told me I need to get a new tire and will charge me for $750. This American Tire shop is also very prompt. It took only about 30 minutes to complete the job. I rarely wrote reviews. But to appreciate this shop’s work I wrote this review and gave them a 5-star rating.

I dropped off my tire with a screw in it. American Tire repaired it within a few hours. The person behind the desk was easy to work with and the service person was helpful getting the tire from my truck. I had an excellent experience there and would recommend American Tire to everyone.

I had an exceptional experience at Discount Tire, thanks to Oscar. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that we received full value during our visit. Not only did Oscar swiftly process our transaction, but he also made sure we were out the door in no time. He seemed genuinely invested in saving us as much as possible, taking the time to explain each step of the process clearly and efficiently. Oscar’s dedication and excellent customer service made our experience seamless and very positive. Highly recommend visiting him if you need tire services!

I have a love hate relationship with this company. My issue is every time I come I'm here several hours. This store is not for a quick turn around even with an appointment. But they stand behind their work and warranty.

I chose this tire shop primarily because I needed both tire replacement and alignment done, and wanted to streamline the process rather than going to separate places. After reading positive Yelp reviews and having a helpful conversation with Julio over the phone, I felt confident in my decision.
However, my experience took a disappointing turn during my appointment. Despite already knowing the make of my car before my appointment, they couldn't complete the alignment due to a missing OEM part. This was particularly frustrating as it was my first time buying tires, and I relied on their expertise to guide me through the process. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. I would have 100% opted for Costco, given their better warranty and deals (they provide a 5 yr warranty on tires vs with this place you have to pay an additional fee for an extended warranty), for the tire purchase and elsewhere for alignment had I known they couldn't provide both services.
Furthermore, the person I worked with offered to leave me one of my tires as a spare since they weren't all worn out. However, when I got my car back, I was already so frustrated with them that I just drove right home, only to realize they hadn't left my spare tire with me. So even that small detail just added to the inconvenience and frustrations I've had with this place.
In the end, while the tires themselves are of decent quality, the overall experience left me feeling very frustrated and disappointed. I honestly felt like they just got me through the door to purchase tires by promising the alignment, only to upsell me on the more expensive service without disclosing the inability to perform the alignment until after the tires were replaced. There wasn’t really any consolation for the inconvenience either. It was hard to talk to the other representative who was issuing my refund for the alignment, so I wasn’t able to express my disappointment to them, which was also just annoying. I felt like a very low priority now that my one service had been done and paid for. Next time, I'll be more cautious in my choice and ensure that the shop can deliver on the services promised.
