I was looking at the apartments over here and my two sons, (13 and 11 years old) are in love with fishing. It's all they ever do! I was just wondering if it was ok for my kids to fish here for a few hours. I will make sure that they respect the property and leave it cleaner than they found it. Just wanted to make sure that it was ok.

The lease process was easy enough. We felt very welcomed. Our unit was pretty dingy upon move in. Damaged cabinets that weren't wiped down from previous renter. fence riddled with marks and damage. The backyard had nails and trash all between the stones. The stove is yellowed for whatever reason .there's a crack in a kitchen tile.. the fridge is dented.. on moving day the bathroom sink was leaking which they fixed immediately. We put everything we could on the move in inspection but every day we found something else. The resident Portal app also doesn't allow you to have two people pay their half of rent separately so that's a little inconvenient but the maintenance team is super responsive via app so that's good.Other than the fact they could've cleaned better and updated some things before we moved in... The place is very peaceful and there are ducks and turkeys that roam free. Coming home everyday is very soothing. The management even hosts a few events on the property! They are super friendly and the place seems safe to walk at night... Except the duck poop which is apparently a running joke here.

I asked for a garage when I moved in, never heard back. My car was broken into 3 months after moving in and the wheels were stolen. I asked for a garage after my car was left on cinder blocks, and as it happened the last time, no response. I sent an email and followed up with a phone call after my car was broken into. even if the answer is no, the leasing office management should be courteous enough to send a response. The place is nice but porch thefts are on the rise here.

Whether you make this a long term home will depend on your neighbors. If you're lucky and your neighbors are quiet, it's great. If you're unlucky, you could get stuck with neighbors who possess no sense of self awareness. These are ones who use a hammer to hang pictures at 1 AM, slam their front door and wake everyone up when they come home late at night, or burst into expletive-laced fits of rage at their wife and kids. The walls are generally pretty thick but some neighbors are so loud you'll still hear them regularly at all hours. Not much you can do to identify the low IQ neighbors before signing a lease. However, you can stack the odds against an unpleasant environment by avoiding units that have Ford Mustangs, Dodge Chargers or other explosive exhausts parked outside. Otherwise you're forced to wake up whenever these wonderful neighbors leave home, so prepare to be on someone else's schedule. Maintenance team and landscaping is great.

Don't waste your time and money. Your money will be appreciated elsewhere more then here. Mold on windowsill and blinds that continuously grows due to old the windows as well as mold on patio door tracks! They are quick to raise the rent on tenants but don't want to change their 10 year old appliances out and rather have maintenance come to replace parts! There's always an excuse and attitude coming from the front office as well as they will take your whole deposit and charge fees that doesn't make sense basically they turn the apartment around on the previous tenants wallet we left the apartment immaculate and even did the pre inspection with Carol to still be charged extra for fees not discussed as a commission of $225 .... Jason the manager is very rude and unprofessional! Save yourself and your sanity and rent elsewhere at the end it will be all worth it!

Amador Lakes provided a beautiful backdrop for many wonderful memories while living here for two years. I am thankful to the staff and the maintenance team who helped to keep the grounds clean and in order. Jada and Jenny were very instrumental in helping us to settle in, we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you both. We appreciate the opportunity to have also met Carol and Alicia while living at ALA. They were both very helpful, responsive & compassionate in their action to resolve any concerns we addressed. We want to again express our gratitude for the chance to live in such a beautiful community, thank you Amador Lakes!

Don't worry, if you're a smoker, the leasing office don't care. You can smoke behind the garages just like that guy who smoke 10 times a day. If you don't like the smell of smoke, don't rent here

Apartment complex and landscape is nice. BUT make sure you are sure about living here before you apply. There is a holding agreement that states if you are approved but decide not to go with this apartment, you forfeit your deposit. We were NOT told this when we visited the apartment. We applied to a few places including this apartment not knowing if we would be approved. So make sure you really want it or you'll lose your $800 security deposit like we did.

This place is truly amazing. I've lived in a total of 4 apartment complexes and Amador Lakes is by far the best. It was a long process to get approved to live here but it honestly made me feel secure in my choice. Kristen originally helped us with all paperwork and she was amazing. Facilities are always kept up and clean. Gym is perfect. And there is so much preventative maintenance that goes into making sure this place is looking good and working. Also- every maintenance person is so nice here. They're always fast to get to us, fast to finish their work, and so kind. They even have shoe covers so they don't dirty your carpet with mud/debris. My only cons to this place: The walls are somewhat thin so you can hear the phone vibrating or alarm going off in the apartment next to you. But I feel like this is so common in every apartment. And there is a woman in the office that definitely needs some customer service training. There was a man on my deck the same week that there was some gutter maintenance going on, but we were the first building to have the gutter cleaning finished. When I called the office to ask who was on our deck I was responded with "We literally sent an email that they're doing gutter cleaning". Yeah, like I'm the idiot? To which I said "we were the first building they finished and the guy is measuring things on my deck so he's obviously not cleaning gutters." Turns out he was replacing a part of the fence on my deck, which again was nice. But that lady was so rude. Wish I got her name. Anyways, if this place is on your list of maybes, say yes!!!

Its a beautiful apartment community. I had to give 3 star only because of the poor maintenance response.

Living at Amador lakes for about 7mo. Really think this apartment complex is beautiful and well maintained. Sometimes I feel like I'm at a resort. Most importantly, we wee assisted and welcomed by Haley J. Wouldn't of wanted anyone else to help with our move in. She is exceptional at Amador. So glad of all our choices, we chose here. Thankyou Haley and Amador.lakes Apts.

Hi my name is Alex. I live in this neighborhood and I am going to share my experience about a situation that happened this afternoon. I decided to talk to my neighbors about a political candidate. I was just knocking on my third door when I heard someone yelling and asking me what I was doing. I explained why I was there and she responded in an aggressive manner that I had to stop doing that and leave the neighborhood because it's private property. She did not say who she was or introduce herself. After this, I told her that I am just canvassing and she replied that I had to leave the property. I asked her who she was and why she was talking to me in an aggressive and rude way? She looked at me in a weird and condescending manner and said, “you can't be here” and I answered, “why? I live here in one of the apartments here.” She said that she wanted to know my address and I told her my address and that I won’t leave because I live in the next building. She looked at me in a suspicious and discriminatory way. She wouldn’t stop asking for my address and my friend who was helping me canvass was shocked and intimidated by the reaction of this lady. I told her that she doesn’t have the right to mistreat anyone like this and I asked her name. She answered that her name is Alicia and that she is a property manager and then she told another employee to call the police. This kind of treatment of a resident exercising their first amendment rights to talk to neighbors about an election is really unacceptable. This lady is abusing her position by mistreating, intimidating and discriminating against her tenants.

If there is a negative review, I will pick negative 1000. Racists tactics they employ these guys. They wasted my time with the application process, each time pushing the goal post. In the end, it was clear they did not want to rent to me from the get go but was looking for excuses to deny me. I wont be surprised if they wrote " C" for colored on my application. If you are a dark skinned person, I suggest you stay away from these racists.
