Lied about a promotion and plan, for my second bill, it’s actually $73 more, and now at $110 monthly and I’m on the most expensive internet plan. And it’s only my 2nd month lol that’s insane

Went in for a simple modem pick up, did not expected to get extorted.
Upon trying to pick up a modem for internet service order a full day before, was then told by the staff that they cannot give me the modem because their system is not working as my order wasn’t processed yet, my options would be: 1. Go to another store to try, 2. Wait for the modem to be mailed, 3, sign up for a free mobile line so get the order pushed through. I went with option 3 as I drove there expecting to get my modem/ internet working that same day for a reason and I didn’t want drive to another location or wait for it to be shipped. As I agreed to the line sign up I was told I can call in to cancel the line a month after and asked to provide my current’s phone IMEI number, and a credit card despite the line is “free”. While it got really weird but I wanted my modem so I gave the info.
I 100% consider this extortion as I was forced to get something I don’t want and in the mean while they took more information than I intended to gave, terrible terrible practice.

Walked in to upgrade phone. No problem. Upgrade new phone no problem. After I'm home I find my sim card and my SD card missing. I don't need either one of those items for my new phone. But there is my personal information on those disks. Not to mention they are mine. I paid for them. They are mine. I don't like the fact that my phone insurance was upgraded without my permission also. Now I pay more money a month for insurance. And I'm out $34.99 for my SD card.

Represento es in this store give incorrect information. My boyfriend went inside the store on June 17, 2024 to get information on his damaged phone. Since we have insurance he went to go ask, and he was told to go to the store and leave phone an be without a phone. Once he went again on yesterday the person who was not helpful was pressuring him to leave the store and talk to insurance on the phone. I will not be renewing our plane with spectrum, I hate having to deal with bad customer service.

Everyday multiple times a day they turn our WiFi off. Everytime I chat in to support and then it comes back on. Seems like they turn off WiFi during the day when they think no one’s home and around midnight when they think people are sleeping. I have already just replaced my modem and router so all my equipment is new. It sucks that spectrum is the biggest option around but now that there have been some other growing options it may be worth trying them instead. I pay a flat fee and if my WiFi is always not working for multiple hours each day, you should discount me for what I’m not getting…

Extremely unhappy with the customer service here. Horrible experience going with another service provider.👎🏽👎🏽 Dear owner, Your response is extremely fake. It's okay, because the people you have working for you are 100% reflecting what a horrible company Spectrum truly is. Keep up the bad work 👎🏽 👎🏽

I just had about the worst experience of my life, calling Spectrum. You can't call the store. Instead, they switch you to a central office. All I wanted to do was leave Spectrum for T-Mobile. I didn't want to keep paying, now that I have a new service with T-Mobile. The lady just argued with me. She would not listen to me. I'm paying about $50 for wifi, instead of $99.98. Then, she offered me a deal. I already had made the switch. I am not obligated to justify to anybody why. I am going into the Spectrum store tomorrow, and I'll be the lady never closed my account.

I just found a new con from Spectrum . I just turned in my equipment, and am paid up thru 11/15. I ask to be reimbursed for my overpayment and was told that their accounts are "Pro- rated" and it's their " policy" not to reimburse over paid monies. I explained to them, this is illegal, and they just shrugged, and said oh well... I then called to complain, and got the same story, they are "prorated" and no refund. I ask to speak to a manager, and got some kid, who explained the accounts are NOT "Prorated" and it's their policy of no refunds. So bottom line they feel free to steal from you. as long as you accept it. These people are flat out thieves! I'm sorry I ever did business with them, And hope you are smarter than I I am considering going to small claims court, just to screw with them... Buyer Beware!

HORRIBLE and shady practices. After canceling my internet they continued to charge me despite cancelling and turning in all my equipment and moving out of the state. Despite me bringing this up to their staff and management they deemed all those charges were legitimate and wouldn't stop harassing me about paying I brought this up to their billing and customer services who told me I could pay it off and receive a letter of deletion but when I escalated this to their manager they said they wouldn't be able to go to collection Every time I called a different person I would get a different answer and would go no where NEVER want to do any business with spectrum again and save yourself the headache
