“Not too close to me, but worth the occasional drive. The best thing about this store is that they get things you haven't tried yet, or didn't know existed, and you'll get them at a fraction of the price. Sure, some of the staples are overpriced, but if you ship smart you'll score big there. For example, we buy our kids Fiber One granola bars all the time, and they're on sale at Vons for $2.50/box. This morning at Grocery Outlet they had them for $0.50/box, and another version, for the same ridiculous low price. Id rather spend half a buck on something the kids might hate or love than spend $2.50 on that gamble.”

“One of most organized Smart & Final I have ever been. All sections, including fresh produce are organized.
Plenty of parking, never had any issue for making quick stop to grab groceries from this location. Staff is polite, store is very clean.”

“Compared to the East Pasadena and the West Covina locations, this store is smaller and thus has a smaller selection. They still manage to stock my favorite salads in the produce section. The shelves are well stocked and store displays always appear organized and clean. Shout out to the loss-prevention guy for thwarting a smash-and-grab robbery on the night of Jan 12. As the thief tried to escape, she punched the poor employee in the face but he took the punishment like a champ. Too bad Target employees aren't allowed to fight back when thieves turn violent.”

“I really like shopping at Walmart in Duarte California, but the last 2 times I go shopping at Walmart were around 8 pm on July 29, 2024, there is a person at the door and he is a racist person because I bought 5 things, I showed him my receipt, but he looked at us piece by piece. And he even allowed other people to pass without checking them, it may be because the lady who was coming back was tall and white, and he didn't check that lady even though she was carrying a lot of things. And today is the second time this has happened to me, that's why I think that that man who is at the Walmart door checking the tickets is RACIST?????and I say that man because he didn't want to give me his name, he was in the door on the side where people make returns. ”

“It's probably the cleanest Walmart I have ever shopped in!!! The staff are super friendly, super helpful, and always look happy... Not like some locations that look as if they are doing life sentences. LOL...The store is well organized, and stocking levels are usually better than most locations from Burban to Long Beach...I live in Glendale and would rather make the drive to Duarte just to shop at this store..
