“Generally a good place, with one improvement needed: serve the two lines more evenly so it's first come, first served.I appreciate the opportunity to get food for someone that is having a hard time right now. Most of the volunteers are very helpful and friendly. Sometimes they even offer to pray for you.However, they need to be more attentive to serving the two lines of cars more evenly. They claim that one line isn't faster than another, but it's not true.Tonight I made a mental note of the license plate of the last car in the other line (that I wasn't in) when I got in line. That car made it through the line much faster.So, I waited a lot longer than I would have if I had been in that line. I pointed it out to a worker and asked her to tell a supervisor. She agreed that they were "off-balance" tonight (serving one line more often than the other).I realize that it's a free service; however, it's frustrating to see other cars coming after you and getting served first. This has happened on other visits as well.It's about 45 minutes to an hour total from the time I start waiting in line until I leave. So, being served in first come, first served order would help.SUGGESTION: Give drivers an index card with a number on it as they arrive, then call them out in numerical order.”

“I have borrowed few equipments from Convalescent Aid Society and I have had great experience with them from creating the account to ease in getting the equipment i needed for my family member. It is such a blessing to get the equipment without paying anything , may be little donation if you can afford to keep the program going, so everyone can benefit from this non profit organization.I am very thankful to the Founder of this organization and the supporting staf as wellThank you”

“If there is a place that exemplifies the essence of compassion, it's undoubtedly the Heart of Compassion food pantry. I can't stress enough how much of a lifeline this place has been, especially during challenging times. What truly sets Heart of Compassion apart is the genuine care that radiates from every volunteer. And speaking of that, I have to give a special shoutout to Nela, who patiently guided me through the process. The variety and quantity of food they give out at Heart of Compassion is impressive, but it's the people like Nela who make this place shine. It's not just about filling stomachs here. I'm grateful to have HoC in my community.”
“Decided to make our son 2nd generation KYL! It's great to have a family-oriented place where kids are developed in sports and character. It's not super competitive but there's definitely room for good solid athleticism to be formed. Racially diverse and feels very welcoming for all. I see many of the faces I saw 30 years ago when I played sports at KYL and it says a lot that their kids and grandkids are still involved too.”
“It was the boys Christian league back when I attended here from 1971-1978 they would pick us up at school with a bus in Duarte. I enjoyed playing football baseball and basketball I was on the Pirates and we all went camping every summer in the mountains I wouldn’t change it for anything”
“Didn’t purchase anything but anyone who comes visit legitimately has the potential to come out with a thrifted outfit for less than a 20 dollar bill. I saw some t shirts here for 99 cents in great quality. The downside is this place is quite smaller than the usual thrift store. Still giving it 5 stars for how it could allow someone to come out with so much for so little.”
“I hate that I have to do this court stuff, but these ladies have gone above and beyond with what they can in terms of facilitating the process and genuinely show care. Yes it costs money, yes, community service sucks. But they’ve done a great job so far in this non-profit. Thankful.”
“This beautiful and rustic space has been the home of so many wonderful memories over the years. I’ve attended weddings, taken educational workshops, enjoyed professional dancers and musicians traveling through, watched theatrical experiences, enjoyed movie nights, shared wonderful dinners… the list goes on. So happy that Nature Friends is easily accessible for folks like myself here in LA. I also love that it’s situated right at the edge of the Angeles National Forest - you never know what amazing wildlife you’ll witness.”

“Great place to go and spend quality time with your children if it is that dcfs is involved in your life and require you.to have monitors over look you and your childrens bonding time...not giving me the 3 days x 3 hour's that the judge ordered them to but to there convience nothing is on the line like as if missing out on the other 6 hour's im entitled to being with my son whichnin reality 24hrs in a day 7 days a week well you do the math....168 hours but who's counting right..so 9 minus 168...you get the picture its not even a quarter of his precious childhood im only missing out on being my first baby ever...yeah they want to place so i bite my tounge that way I don't end up biting there heads off figuratively speaking ...dont go assuming and taking it personal or serious...it's just business as you ppl would say , right?”

My daughter has not only learned so much academically but has also grown in confidence and social skills. “I am surprised there are no recent reviews. I signed up because it is the closest facility to me with an indoor pool, and having been to many pools, this one is really nice! I love the lane-reservation options. The pool is clean and medium-sized, with sunlight streaming in, and the staff are all friendly and helpful.”
“COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All individuals are expected to wear a mask too. The staff do not wear gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for people to use. This place is opened with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between people. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: Plenty of parking prepandemic and during the pandemic. Parking spots are a bit small, so be careful when you park in this lot. Staff: The staff here are very nice and friendly.”

“Wanted to thank Carmen at Club Cubano ! I I was able to have my mother’s special birthday at her establishment! She was friendly and really cared about making this event as special as I wanted it to be! Her staff is amazing and very helpful, her establishment is super clean and beautiful ! My mother is in a wheelchair and had no issues going into the rr. Parking is convenient! I cannot stress how beautiful and clean the hall is and how her staff security guard and property manager made me feel safe and also very supported! Property manager was with me the day of the event and was available to assist with adding toilet paper, trash bags and answer any questions throughout the event. I highly recommend this beautiful club! Thank You for making our event a night we will never forget!!”

“Great pool feels nice and refreshing. My one star off is for the showers in the locker room. The shower pressure is really weak and they are sometimes really cold. Also what’s with the random curtains between every few showers. It’s really uncomfortable having to walk into other people’s shower curtains to pass them. I had to share a shower curtain with someone’s kid so it’s just me and their kid naked in an enclosed space. Kinda awkward. Just get rid of the curtains and make it fully communal.”

“The place was clean and a perfect location for anniversary party a wedding party it was so classic and everyone that came treated classic it was so nice and our family since we have so many children and teenagers whatever we do they always included at every function and gathering that way you teach children how to be classic and to behave it was my first time there at the lodge and it was very accommodated for handicap or anybody ♥️?”
