THIS IS BASED ON THE PHARMACY ONLY.It seems that the girls who work during the day are far friendlier and more helpful to their patients. Teresa is a pharmacist and I always get EXCELLENT service when she is there, but whatever Sarah is there, it's a total disaster! I always know when she's the pharmacist at the time because when you call she never answers the phone, she just picks it up and places it on hold! She will continue doing that until someone else picks up and then when they ask her if she was on the phone, she says "NO." She once told me to hold on and after 20 mins being on hold, a guy answered and I told him she put me on hold and he asked her and she still said "no." Another problem is, that anytime she's there, they don't have the medication. Tonight I was just over her! I was on my way from the urgent care with my son all the way from PIH and she picks up the phone and places it on hold. I KNEW it was her because she's the only one who does that, it was 5:20pm and she continued to place it on hold without even asking me to wait or greet me etc. I pulled up at 5:48pm and as I was still on hold and walking in the door she picks up and I asked about my sons meds and she tells me they don't have any. At this point I'm already there and she's telling me that the medication is not correct and that she's called the doctor but they are not answering. A guy walks over and I said "can you please call again because I know you close at 6 and they're open until 8, I know they're there." He turns around and asks Sarah if she's called and she says yes and so he turns around and tells me "she literally just called right now." Just taking her word for it. I searched for the number and called myself with both of them in front of me and they answered!!! They fix the prescription and she says "well, its 6pm now so we are closed and I'll have to call tomorrow to see if I can find the medicine for you." And the guy... he was the "MANAGER" named Hector!! Now I know why Sarah has been there so long with her crappy service, because her manager doesn't care about his patients any more than she does!

This review is only for the photo section. They have a kiosk in there that you're supposed to be able to download and print photos. The iPhone port that connects us loose that it doesn't recognize the phone for more than a couple of minutes at a time. I thought it was me and my phone storage but I realized it's the damn port. FAAAAAAIL

I called ahead to ask if I could get a money order at this location, the girl I spoke with said yes so I went there later in the day for them to tell me they don't do money orders, I was standing there figuring out the machine because the girl told me to sign up first put in info on the computer, I wasn't seeing any options for money order services so I asked again, and she said did not know so she would ask someone, she was told that they don't do money orders, so then why was i given other information on the phone earlier... it was a waste of time, very annoying.

I had an appointment at 10am for a Covid test at the drive-through pharmacy in Downey CA. I arrived 5 minutes early. After more than 10 minutes waiting, I got out and knocked on the window. It seemed no one was there. So, I then called. This got me connected to very tough automated system: I spent some time trying to explain why I was calling; it was also very frustrating trying to get around this thing to talk to a live person. Once I was able to get transferred, I was connected to an answering service. This answering service was obviously in India, and unfortunately, the two of us just could not understand each other. Once that call ended I was trying to call again when a girl showed up at the pharmacy window. I told her I had an appointment at 10am (it was now about 10:25am, with another car behind me). She told me I was supposed to ring the bell. I felt a little silly at first because I had not even noticed that button. But then I was thinking, "no" I had an appointment; you should have been expecting me. I didn't argue with her; I just took my Covid test and moved on. Afterwards, I looked through all four pages of the instructions Walgreen's emailed me, and there was nothing about ringing the bell. I am not giving a less-than-stellar review based on the service provided by the girl at the pharmacy window. She did a very good job of walking me through how to do my Covid test. My issue is with whoever is in charge. I should have noticed that service button, but I didn't. Nonetheless, they should have been expecting me. And, if people are in the building working, why route my call to India?

I placed an order after hours and I got a text almost as soon as they opened, saying my order was ready for pickup. I did curbside pickup and a gentleman took my order to my car as soon as I marked that I was there. Very efficient, I will definitely be placing more orders from this place.

Just wanted to thank Josephine, Andrea and Vivian for helping me with the passport pictures tonight! We need more people like these hard working women that are willing to help. I appreciated their patience. Again thank you ladies!!!

Today I did a curve side order right away I called to let them know my husband was gonna go get it she didn't hesitate to go check and do it she even called me to tell me it was done very happy with the customer service I got from this Walgreens I love it!!! Thank u Diana for ur superb customer service greatly appreciated it's rare when u get Exceptional customer service

Never go here. The workers are rude and not helpful. If you ask a question they roll their eyes like if your bugging them on their time off. The bathrooms are disgusting. Merchandise is always disorganized.

Had a perfect shopping experience at Walgreens today. The checker, Alyssa was helpful and pleasant. I found the aisles clean and organized. I came in for vitamins and was happy to find out they were buy one, get one free! I definitely will shop here again, as needed!

Okay, so I had a baby earlier this year. And I received a ton of diapers as most people do at their baby shower. Babies grow fast, and mine certainly did too. So today I was bringing in a box of Pampers diapers to exchange for a larger size. I walked in & asked an associate if I could do an even exchange. Mind you, the box is sealed, brand new. Well, she proceeds to ask me if I have a receipt. I tell her no, explain that they were a gift at my baby shower & I just need a larger size. She than looks at a label on the box & says that they need to be returned to the Redondo Beach store. Redondo Beach? Are you serious?! Walgreens is a chain, why would they need to be returned to a specific store?! That's just bad business practice. Target would NEVER do this to me. *insert side eye*

Had a very unpleasant experience yesterday afternoon with the clerk & the manager. I went in to do a little shopping, I was going to do 3 separate transactions, Mind you it was pretty empty inside the store, so i didn't think she would mind since there little wasn't any line. When i get to the register i told the clerk (This older lady has white hair & glasses ) i was going to do 3 transactions , she then told me i could only do 2. Which I've never herd of.. but ok i didn't say anything about it, she proceeded to scan my items and i handed her 2 coupons i had , them said i could only use one, which again i was confused why, when before it hasn't been an issue( mind you I was not rude whatsoever). She proceeded to call the manager herself , the manager wasn't helpful at all she just sided with the clerk and told me i couldnt use the coupon, i was with my mom so she loudly said "you can use one , she can use one as she pointed at us " . I was pretty upset by then but didn't react negative to it . I just simply left my cart there and left. I didn't get their names but the clerk was an older lady and i really though she was rude or having a bad day and didn't want to help me. I've gone before to this store and never experienced anything like this , prior to this i actually had a pleasant experience with this other female clerk who's pregnant( didn't get her name ) . Walgreens needs more employees like her , because management is also not helpful.
