The staff is sooo nice, patty was the one that did my hair and it turned out sooo beautiful. She helped me and gave me advice through our appointment and has been very helpful after with how to take care of it . I would 100% recommend her

Roseanna is back at this salon and she is a miracle worker. She always get my hair toned and cut exactly like I want. The salon is clean they are taking all the needed Covid precautions. I could not be happier with Roseanna.

This review is for the stylist Marisol. I recently found her through Instagram and contacted her looking to get some work done to my hair. I originally did not know she was part of shear vanity as it doesn't state it on her ig page and I only mention this because I love this salon and would only return for Felis as she is great! Anyway, I texted her inquiring about getting my hair done with her and she originally responded to me and answered all my questions and I was really pleased and excited to get my hair done again. She asked for pics of my hair and I sent them. I stopped getting replies and I thought okay it's fine it's now Saturday so I get it she's not working I'll let it be. Monday, Tuesday comes and still no reply so I took a better pic of my hair as I told her I would along with further explanation on my hair goal and still no reply. It has now been nearly 3 weeks and I'm still left hanging with no response which I find really unprofessional and seems like after she saw my hair pics (which my hair is long and fine, never box dyed) discouraged her from working with me? Lol Found another hair girl who doesn't ignore me:)

When I first came here, Daisy was the girl who did my balayage and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Last year I decided to come back & dye my hair again and went with a girl name Jessica. The customer service that Jessica provided was nothing like I expected from this hair salon. She suggested I had to cut my hair first in order to dye it since it was damaged and so I made an appointment to come back for a hair cut only since I wasn't ready to cut it short at that time. When I came in for my appointment, she was in the middle of dying another clients hair and I had to wait for her for about 15-20 minutes. When she finally came to me, she mentioned she had to hurry as she had to go back to the other clients hair that was being processed. She spend less than 8 minutes with me "cutting my hair" and she didn't even bother to wet the hair to cut it properly as they always do. Jess just seemed to be rushing and I saw no point of even having an appointment to begin with. Although the staff is nice in terms of greeting you right away and making you feel welcome. It just takes one person to ruin your experience and not want to come back.

I'm super low maintenance with my hair and for some reason recently just decided to go lighter on my dark hair. Loved the outcome and my hair stylist Grace was the best. Made me feel super comfortable and gave me a lot of tips on taking care of my hair and what products to use. looking forward to my next appointment!

I went to this salon a few weeks ago and left so disappointed. I went to a girl called Patty. She was distracted the whole time and did my hair in a rush. I told her I wanted the highlights very subtle because my hair gets brassy easily. While the foil was on my head, though, she said she was lightening it as much as possible because I was just going to come back and want it lighter anyway. I assured her I wouldn't but she did what she wanted anyway. So now my hair is orange and brassy which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Also, when I first got there, she cut a couple of inches off my hair and said she would give me a real haircut after the color. After she colored and began to style my hair I reminded her that she had not cut it yet. She said she did which confused me. But after I left I went over the entire process in my head and I'm positive she didn't. Not to mention I can't style my hair because it's just cut blunt at the bottom. She charged me over $200 for a rushed job and a service she didn't even perform! I could go back and complain but I don't even want to step a foot in there again. The other stylists are probably fine but this Patty girl really makes this business look bad.

This place is honestly AMAZING in particular the hair stylist Brenda is the only person that I will let near my hair ever again she is extremely friendly and does an incredible job. If you want an amazing hair dresser ask for Brenda I'm sure everyone there is great but Brenda helped myself and my wife and we both were incredibly pleased with her work! Also the salon itself is very clean and staff are very professional. Thanks again for a great experience!

I decided to get a haircut on a whim after my wedding. I just wanted to chop off my long hair. I called in to this salon and they were able to give me an appointment within an hour! I came in, got a cute lob, and was out and back to my normal schedule. It was simple and no-hassle. Pretty standard pricing, too.

I am completely disappointed!! My visit started off great. I was a little bit hesitant about trying to new salon after reading several reviews. I decided to book an appointment with Trish. She was super friendly upon arrival and told me she had been doing hair for almost 10 years. So I decided to move forward with our appointment. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!! She was juggling two clients at the same time. So periodically she would go back-and-forth between myself and another client. So it was taking longer than usual for her to foil my hair. That should've been a big red flag since bleaching a clients hair has to be done in a timely matter. After she completely foiled my hair. She placed me under the dryer for 20 minutes. Without checking on me or my hair. When she had me in the Rinsing bowl. I knew something was wrong her whole demeanor had changed. Once I was in the chair and she begin brushing my hair. Huge globs of hair begin to fall out all over me. Once I turned around and seen a black towel folded over she had with all of my hair in it. I begin to completely freak out!! At the moment I thought OMG THIS CANT BE REAL!! it's going to take SERVAL YEARS FOR MY HAIR TO GROW BACK and be back to NORMAL!!! I noticed she had over processed my hair. Causing severe breakage. So much so she did not even completely Blow dry my hair due to it being so damaged. My hair feels like Hay!!! Worst part about it is she tried to hide it. NEVER EVER HAS THIS HAPPENED!! I have been dying my hair for years!!! I feel like this happened because she was negligent and an unexperienced. NOW I HAVE Severe breakage and huge Globs of hair missing!!!! I literally left in tears

I had really long hair that I valued very much & when I decided to first cut it I came to shear vanity and Alejandra took her sweet time and cut it perfect, the way that I wanted. 2 and a half years later I booked an appointment this last Saturday with Jess or Jessica not sure what her actual name is. & I was really excited because it seemed like she was going to do a great job. When I asked her if my hair was cut in later or straight she said it was cut straight. So she cut it "straight" once I got home to look in the mirror. It wasn't straight. It was CROOKED! I'm super disappointed because look at how long my hair was precious to cutting it, & look at this catastrophe! I had to go somewhere else an hour later pay AGAIN almost $65 which is what Jess charged me to cut it just so they can even it out. & even then the girl at the salon told me it was still going to be somewhat crooked since Jessica cut off some hair that shouldn't of been cut off. I'm really disappointed. This will be the last time I try Shear Vanity.

I've recently developed an allergic reaction to hair dye. It was before my wedding day when I needed my hair lightened without the chemical burns. Surprisingly enough, Nency was able to lighten my hair without the side effects, she did it in two different sessions just to make sure there were no adverse actions to the alternative. To me, that's alchemy. Thank you Nency for always taking care of my hair and not damaging it, or my scalp. Forever grateful!

Esther was absolutely amazing! I've been to many hair salons all over the country, and this is one of the few happy experiences I've had. She knew how to deal with my extensions and hair. She knew exactly what I wanted, and delivered just that. Besides her professionalism, she's so fun to speak with and a beautiful soul. Overall, a fantastic experience and I totally would recommend this salon. Don't think twice (especially if you have dark hair and want to go blonde).

Love this place! First time here. Everyone's super nice. I was looking for a hair salon near my parents' place. I walked in and was immediately greeted and offered coffee, tea or water. My stylist Patty worked with me to choose the right color for my root touch-up and a toner with a copper effect, then she brought Jessica over to give me a cute a-line inverted bob haircut. Such a cute look! I got compliments right away, even before I left the salon. I'm very pleased and already made my appt to come back next month. Thank you, Patty & Jessica! Great teamwork, service and quality!
