The SpringHill in Downey was a fantastic place to stay during my vacation. There is a small pool and a living room to watch and enjoy the sunset. Daily parking costs $12. Breakfast was delicious. Beware of their reservation lineI called what I thought was the hotel it was a 3rd party booking site. Springhill didn't have availability for the time I needed but they reserved a room in an okay motel and charged me accordingly.Got to the motel (Studio Inn and Suites) only to be charged an additional amount in order to get the room I needNothing special I needed a room with 2 beds and was very clear about that from the startNot sure which party I was scammed by but I will not book Marriot. Their reservation number is not trustworthy

I don't think there are any Japanese reviews, so I'll write one.Used by a family of 3 traveling. I stayed here for 5 nights using Marriott points.I was going to Disneyland for 2 days and sightseeing in downtown and Hollywood for 3 days, so I chose this hotel because it was in the middle of both and was reasonably priced. If you have a rental car, you won't have any inconvenience when sightseeing. There is Dunkin' next door, and there are commercial facilities such as In-N-Out Burger and Ralphs supermarket just a short walk away, making it convenient.I also appreciated that the simple breakfast was free. The twin room was spacious enough and had plenty of storage. One person slept on the sofa, but on the third day I realized that there was actually a storage bed under the sofa. Therefore, three people can stay comfortably.Facilities include a simple shop corner on the first floor, and although the pool is not listed on the website, it is heated and can be used even outside of summer. There was also a gym, which I used.Overall we had a very good stay.If I had one complaint, it would be that there was a charge for parking.I think it's a location that requires a car, so I was grateful that it was free.

I recently stayed at SpringHill Suites Los Angeles Downey and while my overall experience was enjoyable, there are several aspects that could be improved upon.Let's start with the positives. The hotel itself is new and the rooms are clean and comfortable (the bed is not perfect, see my comment below). The location is convenient. However, there are a few areas that fell short of expectations.Firstly, the breakfast left much to be desired. It lacked variety, was frequently delayed, and became repetitive over the course of my stay. It's essential for a hotel to offer a satisfying breakfast experience, and unfortunately, this was not the case here.Secondly, the demeanor of the staff was concerning. Many of them seemed overwhelmed or tired, which reflected in their low-energy attitude. Hospitality is all about making guests feel welcome and valued, and this aspect definitely needs improvement.Thirdly, the parking situation was unexpected. Having to pay $12 daily for parking felt excessive, especially considering the additional charges for seemingly trivial services like a two-minute phone call being labeled as long-distance (Orlando). This left a sour taste and seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience.Lastly, the choice to cover mattresses with not one, but two protectors, was uncomfortable. It created a noisy and somewhat unpleasant sleeping environment, akin to resting on a plastic bed. While I understand the need for cleanliness, this implementation detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.In conclusion, while there were certainly positive aspects to my stay at SpringHill Suites Los Angeles Downey , there are significant areas that require attention and improvement. I hope these points are taken constructively to enhance the experience for future guests.

Reasonable price. Decent location. A good choice if you have a rental car. The advantage is that there are quite a few restaurants nearby and a shopping center is nearby.

Rooms: My room was very clean and well kept. It has an open layout with space to work remotely.Walkability: The hotel is centrally located to the mall, with multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries nearby.

I completely enjoyed my stay at the Springhill suits by Marriott Los Angeles. I will definitely be booking any and all my future travels to Los Angeles at this specific hotel. The establishment is clean, the staff is attentive, there is ample parking and there is absolutely zero drama, as I was expecting there to be being in Los Angeles. The last time that I stayed at another facility in Downey California, it was a complete nightmare, and I was expecting the same quality from the last hotel experience that I had in Downey. But I was completely wrong, and truly happy that this experience or the experience that I was provided by staying at this hotel was nothing more or nothing short than a great experience. I also had the opportunity to have a wonderful conversation with the bartender and other patrons who were at the bar during the time I was at the hotel. Again, I highly recommend this hotel and if you’re looking for a nice place to stay, this is definitely the spot you wanna be in. This hotel because it is also very convenient close to freeways and other landmarks in the Los Angeles city area. It’s a little bit on the pricier site Than other hotels in the vicinity but again it is definitely worth the peace of mind and tranquility here.Safety: This hotel is extremely safe, compared to other hotels that are in the Downey area.

· It was my birthday and mentioned it to the staff. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and even waived a few things I received for free. They were cordial and professional, specifically Livy. Livy made me feel welcomed and because of that I will continue to book rooms there. Even in the morning when checking out she asked how my birthday went. I told her that's another conversation for another day, lol! Point is I usually book rooms down the street at another luxury hotel but because of the way I was treated Springhill Suites will continue to get my business!
