Shopped here for the first time today. The location is nice and spacious! I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked in. After asking if I needed help, I said I'd like a color match for concealer and Savannah was SOOO helpful! She literally walked me around the store and helped me pick out a concealer, setting powder, and contour stick that perfectly align with the needs I explained. My new go-to Sephora location!

There was a sales associate named Erica who was very helpful today! I am amazed how knowledgeable she was with skincare ! Thank you for making my trip real easy !

I love how close the store is to my house and right next-door to my job but the customer service depends on the associate. I went in today, March 15 to exchange a concealer and buy three more items and the associate who helped me in the front was rude. I didn't have a purse because I was on break. I took the concealer I was going to exchange in my pocket. Not once did I took it out. Once I got to the register and told him I wanted to do the exchange of colors that's when I took it out. He looked at me and looked at the concealer, inspected it like no other and asked me if I used it and I said yes once but it was wrong color. At the same time he was speaking to me I took the other 3 items out of the Sephora little basket and gave them the basket back. He rudely said to put the items back into the basket, which it did. Once he did the exchange he asked "are this the ones you taking"? In my head I'm like "well yea obviously" I said yes, he scanned them and then told me the total. I tapped my phone to lay and he just kept looking at me like I did something wrong. I understand it's busy and it's a new store but no need to make an experience so uncomfortable. Like I said I work in the plaza and I do customer service for work, this is not correct. Need better training and have manners no matter how busy the store gets.. Welcome to Downey, it will always be busy.

They just opened !!! so excited to have a Sephora close to me :) it’s so cute and can’t wait until they have more things in stock <3 employees are super sweet and nice ! be kind to the employees please they do try their very best

I came in just to try out a shade of foundation I wasn't sure about. Alejandra asked if I needed help finding a color (of course I did), and she color matched me with the product I was interested in AND showed me several more that had the skin care benefits I was looking for. Super helpful! One of the items was not stocked in the shelf and she went to the back to see if they had it. She finally offered a trial sample of one of the products she showed but she color matched me so well, there was no need for it. This was by far, the best Sephora customer service I have ever experienced!

Brand new, and fully stocked! I was next door looking for a duvet cover and was shocked that Sephora opened here in Downey! I decided to come and get The Ordinary toner. Also grabbed some other goodies as well as the Summer Fridays lip butter balm. I couldn't believe they were fully stocked on all the flavors! Destiny was so helpful. She was able to look up my purchase history and assisted me with the correct eye cream I was looking for. I had purchased a retinol eye cream last time and needed one with caffeine. This store is clean, well lit, lots of staff to assist, and has everything you could possibly need for your beauty regimen. I think I have way too many points here and I don't care, I'll just keep coming back anyway so my points will continue to rack up. Tons of parking since this is located at the Downey Promenade right next to Marshall's. Have fun ladies!

The worker Alondra was so sweet and helped me pick out an eye cream and even went as far as to check the oz and price to see which product would be more budget friendly. There were so many workers and everyone was so sweet. Literally best sephora i think i've ever been too. Plenty of space and everything was stocked.

Came with the wife to this brand new location. It was the first day they opened so it was full! The workers were very helpful and did a great job navigating the crowd. It's in a nice location with plenty of parking and other shopping stores around. Highly recommend but wait a couple days until the hype of it opening to go.
