“It's a shame so many people are rating Downey High School based on one experience completely unrelated to the education component itself. The front office staff don't teach, they are attendance clerks. They don't get paid to make friends, entertain or even serve the public. They get paid to manage the attendance of over 4,000 teenagers. They have to deal with teachers, administration and unruly parents all day long. If you were in their shoes, you'd probably be stressed out too. Unlike most of you, my encounters with the front office staff have always been pleasant. If you have a suggestion or complaint, consider taking it up with someone in charge, like an administrator. If there are none available at the time of your visit, a simple search on the school website will provide you with all the information and email addresses of the various people in charge for you to reach out to. Trust me, they aren't looking for your feedback on Yelp.”

“My husband and I love this school program. The staff is amazing with the kids they always make them feel welcomed and safe. Both my kids have gone to Kids First Learning Center and they have loved it so much, we are hoping our third baby on the way gets to go as well.”
