i was at the sushi case at 4:30 pm friday 9/17 and there was NO $5.00 friday sushi. i asked the girl behind the counter & she said if it didn't have a sticker then they were out. this store needs to order more sushi if that is the case. i rarely come to this store since it's consistently out of whatever i come here for [even tho it's close to me]. i do go to Pavillion's & Von's & the people are so nice & they almost always have what I want & need. unfortunately they are much further away.

Hi friends. Albertsons in Downey, what can I say? What can I say? After dealing with the man on numerous occasions, I can go on record and state that the manager is a skirt chaser for sure, and possibly a duffus. Every time a skirt would come in, duffus manager would stare and break his neck following the skirt walking in the store. Discretion? None what's so ever, someone needs to teach duffus manager that you supposed to do a 180° turn a couple seconds before the skirt walks by so you can have a clean look without getting caught. Duffus manager stares and stares and stares, breaking his neck anytime a skirt walks in or out. Somethings wrong at home when a grown man acts like that at work. Corporate should intervene.

I ended up waiting 33 minutes when I finally asked someone if the customer service was closed he went to your cashier the first one near customer service. A guy was working that register this was Friday March 12 around before noon or around noon and that cashier looked bothered to have to call someone to help me even though he saw me standing there that long. Very unacceptable, I normally don't post bad reviews unless needed and this day it was needed. That particular make Cashier at the first register saw me standing at the customer service that long and did nothing.

This stupid store ripped me off. I got a card here, hoping to receive the money on my iPad, but when I tried redeeming the code, it didn't work. Stupid Albertsons. My brother had a similar experience in the same damn Albertsons too. The worst part is that I spent a lot of hard working money, just to get ripped off. Thank you Albertsons. Really made my problems worst. Don't even have the receipt

Stopping by to get my random items that I like to have with me at work and noticed that they are remodeling the store. This is a very nice store. I do normally come here for grocery shopping and the experiences I have had have always been pleasant, even during covid. The staff at store are always working hard. My only advice really for shopping at this store really is check the products best by day or expiration date. I myself have taken some very close to date things home and even some past the best buy date. They also have redbox and water bottle refill machines which I use. Happy New Year everyone.

The service here was terrible. There was a customer in front of me who got acknowledged well and received good service. As soon as I checked out, the cashier did not acknowledge us and her and her coworker were gossiping the entire time and on their phones. Not once did the cashier acknowledge me or tell me how much my items were or even looked at my direction. She handed my receipt with no thank you or nothing. Super disgusted with their behavior. Would not recommend here.

Store is still great, look I'm here often and have began to notice the quality is starting to fail. Line was 12 people deep, 2 registers open,,why?? The main problem that I had seen is 1.60 tomatoes that were ugly and about to rot.. sadly I have to say is that this store is starting to loose its luster.

The only reason it gets one star is because they have poor management, I called to make sure they had an item I've been in the hunt for and I talked to two different people, I was fine with holding. The next person answers and tells me oh I don't know I can't help you... this is one of my favorite grocery stores because of the customer service they provide but this location needs training in customer service.

Good fried chicken , but I ordered by phone 24 hours in advance for a 3 o'clock pickup. Easy right? Nope, got there and the line was long, 10 minutes for 3 people. Now it's 3:08, it's not ready. They send me to pay, not ready. Now it's 25 minutes and counting after pickup time. So some organization is needed. Mind you, I'm in a hurry to take food for a party. Pizza from Little Caesars was a call in and it was ready when they said it was, now I got some fricken cold pizza in my car. Thanks Albertsons. I'm sticking with Ralphs or Super A from now on.

5 stars solely for their service during COVID-19. Grocery shopping is stressful in a pandemic with a family member back at home who is in more than one high risk group. Their staff made the process a lot less nerve-wracking, and it was apparent that they really cared about their customers' safety.
