I was assisted by Alex and Eric. They were both very helpful. I came in on a Saturday. It was really busy but they kept me updated through the whole thing answered any questions I had. Just all around amazing.I hope to see them next time I come in. I’m very great full to have been assisted by them.

I called to get a key made with the parts department. They would not make it for me even though I had legal documents proving I am the owner of the vehicle. The part person Alfonso kept saying they couldn’t do it and said his manger wouldn’t do it without attempting to ask when I asked for him to do see David Ramos the manager denied the request as well. If I have all proper documentation that I’ve used in the past at other locations why would they not do it. Maybe because I didn’t want them to connect it in the service department. Not helpful at all.

Samuel Cava was very helpful during my time at Penske Toyota in Downey. I appreciated how he took the time to explain the importance of getting the services recommended after the inspection of my car. The staff were very welcoming and kind. I was there for most of my day waiting for my car since I had different things to get work done on. I waited in their waiting room and I was happy to see they had vending machines, plenty of outlets, and wifi that allowed me to keep myself busy while I was there. I was extremely happy when I drove off with my car and had everything fixed and ready to drive. I also saw Erick who was right across the counter where Samuel’s desk was at. Another staff member who also takes customer service above and beyond.

I always get the best service when I come here! Yessenia helped me out yesterday and she was so helpful and insightful! As a women, I am usually scared to go to mechanics by myself and running the risk of getting ripped off. But at the service department I never feel that way, and some services may be a little pricey but I know I’m paying for piece of mind!

This review is for the parts department. I recommend never coming here they treat you like absolute trash. I went in to buy an oil filter which should have been a simple process. I went up and told the employee Alfonso Plasencia what type of oil filter I needed. He came back out with the incorrect one and when I asked if it was for a 2.4 liter engine he told me yes and I knew he was wrong. After explaining to him to him that this was not the correct filter he finally went back and got the correct one. I asked him the difference between the two and he said no difference they are the same which is completely untrue. I had to go to another Toyota to verify it was in fact the correct filter. If you want to be disrespected and looked down upon I suggest you go to Penske Toyota they know how to create a hostile environment.

Every time I bring my car in for maintenance, I am treated very well. Highly recommend. Only reason that I didn’t put 5 stars is because they did not have a loaner car available. My car was only going to take a few hours but I was hoping to be able to run some errands. Oh well. Next time.

What a great team of Toyota employees Thomas Arthur is the man truly a caring reliable , trust worthy individual made sure all of my needs were taking care of! Best Toyota to come to, Anaheim Toyota is next to my residence but they don’t take care of you like Penske Toyota surely will come back !

I had a very positive experience taking my car into Toyota to get fixed. Esteban Arias was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure to keep me informed throughout the process. I’ve always been hesitant about having work done by the dealer for fear of being treated as a dollar sign instead of a human being and with this experience I can genuinely say that was not the case.

This review is for the parts department. For starters, the parts are all extremely overpriced, but of course that’s not something in their control (find 3rd party vendors). What is in their control is their expertise and customer service, which is both severely lacking. I ordered a small part which took months to arrive. I asked for a call back upon arrival, which they agreed to. I call a month to follow up, still not there. Several more and no call. I call to find out if its there, and there is no trace of my order. I show up with my invoice as proof to pick up my part. I let the guy know that I never got called, and he said they are too busy to call (Dave Ramos). Why promise that then? Not only that, as a basic rule of customer service, you should apologize for a delay, even if it isn’t your fault. There are plenty of third party retailers that can provide genuine OEM parts or even better alternatives with good service. Save your time and money and don’t rely on this shop.

My wife and I doubled up on back to back service and repairs for our Camry and Avalon and we couldn’t be happier with every aspect of Penske Toyota from reception to parts to service department. Everything was great. We especially appreciate that the parts and service department is open later than some of the other Toyota dealerships in the area. Our service consultant Cesar Medina took care of our requirements on both occasions, and we couldn’t be happier with his performance and friendly service.

At Downey Penske Toyota I had such great customer service. My service advisor Eric was so polite & respectful. Thoroughly explained what needed to be done and offered some current promotions.I’ll definitely be back and will go to my advisor again.

Great service department! I had a question about a particular situation that my Highlander was doing and Grabiel(tech) Jazmine( service assistant manager) helped me out and i was on my way. They get busy because they do good work. To me it’s time well spent.

Great place! Best deals anywhere on tires hands down, and I looked everywhere around the whole LA area.I will drive a long ways just to get service here because it’s hard to find a place like this. Everyone is helpful, professional, and competent. They did a great job of installing my tires and aligning them! They even washed my truck, and cleaned it really well. My local dealership won’t wash vehicles.Esteban is a really nice guy and knows his Toyotas and cars in general. He was happy to answer all my questions about my vehicle and options I have for it, since it is new to me.The dealership itself is very clean and has lots of room to work or just lounge. They must have good management and be picky about hiring because every single person I met there was genuinely friendly and helpful. Definitely going back!

Called ahead of time to assure i could get serviced and was told i could come in to service . Ignored by workers for about 30 minutes. Was waiting to get acknowledged. Nothing . I speak to service manager he laughs says nothing he could do about it after i drove 1 hour to get here. Only option they give me is to leave my car overnight for a simple oil change. Place is a legit joke worst customer service. Was supposed to test drive a car today for the family while i get serviced. Purchased my Tacoma earlier this year . Wont ever come back to purchase or service here again . SPEND YOUR MONEY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
