Not for children with any sensory issues (which is VERY common at a young age). They won't just cut your children's hair with scissors. They insist on using the electric trimmers even if your child doesn't like them. If your child cries too much, they expect you to take your child to a corner with other crying children and hold them down for the haircut as they are screaming and crying instead of trying to help calm your child down like they would at better children's salons. A very disturbing experience for me as a parent and we won't be returning.

The staff is rude, you would think being an establishment that is designed for kids that they would be friendlier. The Receptionist didn’t take my request for my child FIRST haircut and did not give my baby any of the first hair cut experience. When ask why we didn’t receive this service she started yelling at me and said I never asked her. When I specifically when and ask for that experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE DOWNEY LOCATION

2nd time here I Don't get the bad reviews and there is parking I always find parking. I have my favorite hair lady but they all try there best my son loves it Here and there quick and professional they won't hurt your baby I regret not coming here sooner I drive 30 minutes but I don't mind at all my son leaves happy and so do I Maria is the best I've tried so far.

My daughter and I had a great experience with lily and Cindy. My daughter had a wonderful time and she loved her hair cut and style. Im disabled and I'm in a wheelchair. they were very accommodating and lily was so nice and she knew exactly what I wanted after talking for less than a minute. We will be going back.

Absolutely the best haircut experience for kids! The staff here is so kind, welcoming, and patient with the kids, and of course my sons haircut turned out fantastic ?
There is even a whole arcade at this location with some really cute games and little rides for the kids! Great experience each time we come and we will always make the trip to come here!

It is the first time that my little one cuts his hair and my husband wanted to do it too so that our son feels more confident, but the two boys definitely did a great job, my little one is hyperactive, however, with a lot of patience, Mr. .
My little one didn't want to wear the cape so I didn't want to insist and we got to work ? thank you, keep going and thank you for your patience with the children. It is good to let them know that they are doing a good job, thank you again and something that I do recommend to the daddies and mommies is that they bring their little ones' favorite candy for that day and reserve it for just that moment of the cut because that will really help them. them to do a great job. And the place is also very nice, bless you.??

Requested style: Yaya was our hairstylist, and she cut my sons hair in such a very patient way. My son is on the spectrum, and he does not like the hairclippers whatsoever, and anywhere we go, it's a hassle to get him a haircut. We came to pelitos hoping he'd have a better and more peaceful experience, and that's exactly what he got. This is now our second time, and will be coming back again and again. The place is cool as the kids are able to enjoy before there cut with rife on games and arcade. So make sure you bring coins so they can enjoy themselves a bit.
