It seemed the store had expanded in size. Apparently the service and courtesies extended to me that grew. Mind you, my previous visit was very accommodating - big shout out to Jen.
This time around, scored more cool merch and the shoe care travel kit (highly recommended).

“My brother and I went to this place for the first time, and it's a real good shoe store.
The service was great. Two employees (I think their names were Josh and Joey) would ask if everything was alright and if we liked the shoes. They were super kind and super cool.
The variety was insane. The amount of styles, sizes, and colors of any and all shoe brands were incredible.
If I had one critique, it would be the pricing.
Other than that, I recommend you Foot Locker, the best shoe store in Downey.”

“I have been going to Downey Tux for many years now and always great service. They have accommodated to my family’s needs in so multiple times and in many ways. Despite the fact that I am a last minute shopper they are always pleasant and on time. If that’s not enough there prices are decent and like I said they are always willing to help in any way they can. Tom , Joe and Chuck you guys are awesome thank you for your service.”

“Employees are very courteous and patient. They answer all of your questions and aren't rude even though they are very young.THAT BEING SAID ordering online has been a bit of a mess. I know this isn't a review of their website but it does cause s lot of issues with in store returns, not to mention holding up the line. My most recent orders took forever to arrive to the point where I contacted customer service and they told me they were lost and would RESEND even though I didn't want them to.When the items finally arrived and I tried to return, some items could not be returned. Idk if I have already been refunded for those it's because I did not see a refund in my bank account for those particular items.Refunds also take about a week to process if you pay with credit card which is really annoying. I felt really bad for the employee that helped me today because he was really confused (so was I) so I just left with the items he couldn't return so I wouldn't hold up the line.”

“Surprisingly when you order online and you go to pick it up, the employees know how to do their jobs, well at least when I went in several times that week. They always had my order right!! They gave me no attitude!! And it was never lost in the lost and found!! So with that being said, I'm leaving there with no headaches and they receive five stars!! I'd say that makes us all winners!!”

“GOOD AND BAD SERVICE:
Today my wife and I have bought 4 pairs of shoes. Ever, the sale clerk provided an excellent customer service but the lady that works with her is very unhelpful. He assisted us finding the right size of shoes and facilitated how we could avail of discounts which resulted us buying additional pair of shoes. However, the lady working with Ever was interrupting our check-out process by discouraging us to buy additional pair when Ever explained to us additional discounts. While we were shopping she was not helpful now that we were in the process of checking-out she interrupted impolitely. She should not be employed there,!. She does not know how to deal with customers to get them to buy more shoes.

“First and foremost been using Friar tux since they opened!!! Never let me, my family or friends down.
I rented a tux for my daughter’s wedding in Cabo. I needed tux for an extended period and it was simple they even gave me a few extra days on both ends!! The tux was a great fit lots of compliments it fit perfect, no complaint in the socks they threw in, did not expect that.. my son was in town and had the chance to come with me but opted out and you could definitely see the difference in fit and quality of the tux! He noticed immediately and now knows better. Thank you for always being the go to place!!”
