Horrible waste of time! They switch meds out without consult, even with notes on my file. Nobody reads, nobody cares. I can't wait to have another healthcare option.

*****update so the last few times have been pretty efficient and I feel my rating needs to update. I have to call for certain prescriptions to be manually put thru due to secondary insurance so I notice since that they process it that day and it gets here a few days later. My meds are 90 days supply so I don't have to order often but I definitely suggest calling if you have an issue with your order. Also the staff is really nice that answers lol thank you! These people are hit and miss. Youll get your meds (3 to 7 days) literally a day or 2 after ordering. Then the next time its crickets with no explanation till you inquire. Ordered meds prescribed a week ago and they still haven't shipped. Then ordered a new prescription I got 2 days ago and yea nada. Called today asking what's up and the guy had no explanation and couldn't see himself why there was a delay. Then claimed they were going out today mmmhmm its now around 7pm and they're closed and guess what still no "just shipped " text smh. I used to go in for my meds but sometimes it's financially and practical wise easier for me to use the mail order thing since it's free. If you have heart or mental health meds I recommend just going to one of their pharmacies . If you are stocked but ordering ahead maybe go with their mail order option .

I laced an order a week ago. Still nothing. What is wrong with this place. I go to the pharmacy and they won't fill it because the system shows its mailed. No one is answering the phone this early. Meanwhile I have no medication.

Mail Order Pharmacy is a JOKE to your prescription refill needs especially when it deals with diabetic insulin refills...they only ship refrigerate prescriptions on Mon and Tues only.....so if you are in the need of supplies then you need to transfer to the Kaiser Pharmacy that then charges extra money vs. Mail Ordering it..No winning in this case...Oh Wellz.

I spoke to Monica P. M. over the Phone and felt like I had know her for years. Because she made me feel at ease. She took the time to answer any and all of my questions. She was patient and took her time make me feel valued as a Kaiser Member. She gave me the inner and outer workings on how to use their App and how to make it work for my Son and I . It's means so much to me to feel treated with kindness , respect and value because not many companies now-a-days Know how to do that. I would like to thank you again Monica for making a complicated manner enjoyable.

It is taking longer and longer to get my refills via mail. Sometimes I'll receive a message one week after I place the refill order stating that there is a problem processing the order. Unfortunately now I'll be getting all my refills at the local KP pharmacy.

I called about a prescription for pain and they expedited my order and texted me when it was ready. They are all so friendly and helpful and the pickup line moved fast. The pharmacist was nice and easy to understand on how to use everything. I am so happy I have Kaiser.

Most times, the pharmacy has my refill correct. One time, the medication change was not received or completed.

There seems to be some confusion - judging by older reviews - about this place. This is a mail order pharmacy (MOPC) that serves Hawaii and probably California. It isn’t a clinic, physician office, or hospital. I have only refilled my medications online, and the invoice that comes in the mail lists this address along with my local pharmacy phone number. It seems if I call my number and press 5 I can connect to this Downey location. I’ve never had a problem refilling my medicine but I have not tried to phone in my order. My suggestion is to do the refills online, when everything else including making doctor appointments and getting test results are online already.

I called and asked how soon I could get lisinopril refilled which I need following a heart attack. I called a week ago Wednesday and said I was down to my last 2 pills. They said it takes 2-4 days, so I agreed, assuming it would be there Friday or maybe Saturday, and worst case scenario would come Monday, which in that case I would have only missed Sunday and could take Monday's dose when it arrived on Mon. The weekend came and nothing. Monday came, and nothing. Tuesday. Nothing. Wednesday, nothing still, so I called at 5:15 PM and the pharmacy was closed, so I called a local Albertsons pharmacy and tried to have my prescription transferred. They called and were on hold for no exaggeration, 3 hours and could not get it transferred, so again, another day without life saving blood pressure reducing medicine following my heart attack. The Albertsons pharmacy said they would try again Thursday, and I thought for sure it would have to be in my mailbox then. Again...nothing. Today is Friday...a week and a half after I first called. Mind you, I could have EASILY gone in to pick this up at a local Kaiser pharmacy but thought why expose myself to sick people when i have 2 pills left and it will be here in 2-4 days. So Friday, I checked the mail and still nothing. So I was finally able to call Kaiser pharmacy before 5 PM because I took today off of work, and the pharmacist told me it shows that the order is on hold but he doesn't know why, and wanted to transfer me to the mail-order pharmacy. Instead I said, at this point, I've been without my medicine for nearly a week, I need to come in today to get some. So he called the mail order pharmacy to get the order cancelled and they told him my order was on hold because they didn't have a current credit card # for me. ARE YOU KIDDING? I don't even know where to begin. I told the person I needed this medicine, it was important, they told me to 2-4 days. 2nd, I was surprised when I ordered they didn't ask for credit card info, but they hung up before I could ask...and I figured I would just get billed next time I came in like I did in Kaiser Washington. Now I find out they didn't have a card, and they never even bothered to reach out to tell me they needed a credit card. And here I am like an idiot thinking they know its important life saving medicine and it'll just be one more day.I cannot begin to explain how terrible Kaiser So. Cal is compared to Kaiser WA...its two totally different companies, a great one in the PNW, and a terrrrrrrrrrible one down in So. Cal and not just because of their lousy pharmacy. Honestly...terrible terrible and actually dangerous customer service. I could have gone in last week to pick it up...don't tell me you're sending it and then not even bother to reach out and tell me you aren't sending it or can't because you need money you didn't ask for initially. TERRRRRRIBBBBBLE

This pharmacy should be only used in case of emergencies this place seems to be overwhelmed and they lack the capacity to deal with it. Ordered my daughter's meds we got the message stating that it's ready but they had a hard time finding it. Then it wasn't ready it wasn't mixed.

Kaiser mail order pharmacy needs to be closed. They always send me incorrect amount of Ventolin canisters. My doctor prescribed. 2 canisters every 20 days because I have COPD. One canister only has 207 puffs I need to take 2 puffs every 4 hours (total of 360 for 30 days) I have filed complaints every month for last 4 months. Once the mail order pharmacy tried to send me generic and after email to my doctor that was corrected. Nothing changed. How can the violate doctors prescription Without doctors approval? I spoke with "case manager" last time but never heard back i wonder how many patients they kill a year? Now I am filing with CA medical board

These people that constantly complain about being on hold for hours on end should get with the times and order online. Takes me 30 seconds and I always have my order at my doorstep in 3 days.

They take forever . Been in the waiting room for over an hour . (Yes I had a appointment ) that they made . And I asked after 40 mins of waiting (and I came 15 minutes earlier) and the nurse said the other nurse is going over a chart with a patient . That chart must be really long and lack of staff if it's only one nurse . I personally don't see a point in making appointments if they're gonna take this long . I get it you still get payed by the hour so you don't need to rush . But on the other hand I still have stuff to do . I still have to go about my day and take care of whatever I have to take care of . Staff sucks and has bad attitude too

Today is Dec 8,2020, I have been on hold since 2:25, now it's 4:48, no one picked up to order a refill. On my other phone I called the mail order in Colorado, after approx. fifteen someone answered and placed the refill from there for me. Two weeks ago I called for a refill I was on hold for 3 hours and 27 mins. I understand that there is a pandemic, but this is ridiculous, why not hire more people and allow them to work from home.
