If you have a diesel look no further than Dan at Diesel Specialist for work done. He really is a specialist when it comes to diesels. I have a first gen Cummins and it’s hard to find someone who really knows what they are doing. Dan fixed my electrical short and oil leak with expert care. I highly recommend him for your diesel needs!

I have always taken my Ford F250 6.0 to this shop for repairs, Danny is very knowledgeable and able to diagnose issues that my truck has. Had my oil cooler, and other sensors replaced so I could pass the smog test. Prices are reasonable the the workmanship is excellent. A mechanic you can trust with your truck.

Daniel is a specialist. I think he’s in a league of his own. I had my vehicle at S&S DIESEL Repair in Montebello and they had it for three months.they could not repair my vehicle. Daniel had it for three days and fixed it. Serious. Now my truck is running awesome!

Took my 2004 Ford excursion to S&S DIESEL Repair Montebello. they kept it for three months and could not repair my truck. I then took it to Daniel Zavala for a second opinion and he had it for three days and fixed my vehicle. Now it runs really good. Daniel is a specialist; He's an awesome troubleshooter. He won't waste your time or your money.

Located Daniel on the internet. Called and advised him what was happening with my vehicle. He told me to bring my truck down to Downey on a Sunday. I said sure and arrived around noon. After talking with Daniel, I was assured that my pickup was in good hands. The day after he advised me of what was needed to get the proper repairs completed. At that time he asked me if I had replaced the high-pressure fuel pump, which is known for failures, which I said it had not been replaced. Daniel advised me, it would be wise to replace at that time because of the additional labor to fix later. A few other things I had him replace while the engine was somewhat torn down.The bottom line is, my wife and I are thankful we found Daniel and would encourage anyone else to use Daniel for repairs to their diesel vehicles. Definite five star review, when to take your vehicle over 100 miles from Santa Barbara to Downey.Great experience.Thank you again DanielBob and Mollie Mann

I called Duramax Diesel Specialist after having received a $5000 estimate from Martin Chevrolet in Torrance. Daniel was able to diagnose my problem and fix my truck for $1200. The diagnosis by Martin Chevrolet was incorrect and obviously the most expensive "solution" they had. Daniel could have told me the same thing but he went through some steps like checking the oil for gas leaking into the system and asking me if I had possibly put unleaded fuel in, I had. I will be referring as many people as I can to Daniel and Diesel Specialist. Honest and not looking to take advantage of people. Thanks Daniel!!

I can't say enough good things about Dan and Power Stroke Diesel Specialist! If I could give him better then 5 stars then I would! I had an emergency with my Ford 6.0 F350 with truck camper that broke down in a fire lane, Dan went above an beyond to help me after hours on the weekend not only accepting the truck into his shop but also helping me find a wrecker that could tow my RV as AAA was no help at all. . The very next business day I had an estimate on the needed repairs and recommendations on potential major upcoming issues. Dans quote was extremely fair and he completed all the repairs before the promised date. I also appreciated the fact that when I went to pick up the truck Dan took the time to not only show me the old parts but to thoroughly explain to me why they failed. Dan also steered me away from other, 3rd party recommended repairs saving me lots of money. I found Dan to be very fair in his quote, delivered the truck before the agreed upon date and he was extremely honest, what more could you ask for? It's been a very long time since I have received customer service such as this and I will be back!

My 2005 f250 was not starting Called Daniel at diesel specialist He diagnose the issue ,and it was the IPR valve had my truck running in under 5 hours. I would recommend him .My first experience . He's knowledgeable honest and reliable. Great mechanic for sure took care of business right away.

Dan always have been honest straight forward!! If you call him on the phone he'll answer all the questions you have. Hell tel you he needs to see it so he can correctly diagnose the issue. He's worked on three of my trucks never ever ever try's to up sell me or nickel and dime me. He tells you the problem he fixes it fast and correctly! He never uses cheap parts nor will he alter or modify your truck he's as old school as it gets! Only him doing the work so that he knows the craftsmanship and quality is correct! Time and time again. I'll stop by just to ask a question he always makes the time to talk about it and help out! Not a lot of honest mechanics out there anymore especially for diesel! All my family takes their trucks to him and rave about the work and how amazing their trucks run now! Thank you Dan for your honest work!
