As a Fiat owner, it's already hard as hell to get this car serviced. Very few places service Fiat. Coming from Los Angeles, I expected a certain amount of professionalism from Champion Fiat in Downey but I was extremely disappointed. Firstly, I scheduled an appointment and when I got there. They explained to me that they couldn't help me because I had been previously helped by another service person. Okay. So, I waited for that service person to come to work and that was about 45 minutes. The service person came to my car and explained that not only was his technician injured, but that he personally would be off for the weekend and wouldn't be able to help me until the following week. This is extremely unprofessional and disturbing. I wouldn't take my sick dog here. Beware.

Here we go again. They still have the worst service. Not only does it take 3+ hours to get ur oil change WITH APPOINTMENT but they don't honor what they advertise. I got an email saying to book an appointment for and oil and filter change for 59.95 and when I get there AFTER I already scheduled my appointment they say my car doesn't qualify. It's only for "conventional oil" but NOWHERE on the email does it say any of that. But whatever I pay what I owe and then I get a call that they messed up and I have to go back to pay again. Now they're taking more of my time especially during the holidays to fix THEIR problem. What gets me upset is that when they need me they stay calling me but when I need to find out if my car is ready for pick up they transfer and transfer just for me to get a voicemail. THEY NEVER ANSWER. EVER. only people that answer is sales which doesn't surprise me. THIS DEALERSHIP IS HORRIBLE. Run! Go to any other place. I would never recommend this place not even to my worst enemy. 4 years at this place and they never change. I always thought if I go to the dealership my car will be better taken care of WELL not here.

My wife had a intake manifold vacuum leak for a few month on her Fiat 124. We went there twice, one for a oil change and one for this problem, but they could not figure out the problem (I think they are just too busy). I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because their staff are friendly, but, please, the owner of this dealer should hire more technicians and service advisors.

During the process of this 2 month ordeal I had to speak with the manager about my service person Jose. He would never update me or return my calls. So naturally I would ask to speak with the manager to get an update. After doing so José scolded me and was very rude telling me it was my fault he got in trouble. This guy is like a thug and I do not feel comfortable with him having access to information like my address. Then I got my car and there were white paint scratches on it that were not there 2 months ago when I brought it in. Jose first said he would buff it out and when it didn't come out he said it was bird p*** and called me a liar.

Make an appointment got there 1/2 early when I check in Raul Garibey told me with no remorse is going to be 3 hrs waiting for a appointment oil change. He excused everyone makes and appointment on Saturday what a stupid excuse is that. I wish to take my car for service some where else. I love my car but most of my Fiat dealers closed to me have closed. Why make an appointment if u still have to wait 3 hrs. This is a abuse next time just let ur customer know even dough you make an appointment is going to be 3 hrs.

My car broke down 1 year after having it . It's been 1 month in the dealer and they still "can't figure out" why it's not turning on. This is not acceptable!! they don't answer phone calls. The only way they can talk to me is if I come to the dealer because they don't answer phone calls. I believe if you purchase a new car there should be at least good service and no! Please go somewhere else

I made my appoitment a month ahead. Upon arrival, I was informed that my appoitment was consired "a walk in" becasue It was scheduled at 1:45pm. I was also offered to leave my car there until tomorrow, or to come back tomorrow. The location appeared to have more workers than needed. The dealer was packed with workers wearing a blue t-shirt and appeared to be "just passing their time", hanging and talking to each other, playing in their phones, biting their nails, and never, ever practicing their customer service skills and learning how to greet and welcome a client, , and aknowleging the presence of a client in their stablishment. The positive: After being ignored 17 minutes, I firminly requested to get appropiate customer service for my appoitment. Mr. Valenzuela took care of my car in 2 1/2 hours. Thank you

I can confirm what Chuck wrote. If you make an appointment online they will tell you "They do not honor appointments made online." I have made online appointments every other time and there had been no issue. This time apparently they don't accept online appointments, which I made ON THEIR WEBSITE, not a third party website! No apology and was told I could wait, but the car would not be done for 4 - 5 hours for a simple oil change and some lights taken care of. It is not the customers fault for your system to not be working, and not every customer has the ability to wait that many hours for there car to be ready! Then telling me the next appointment would be three weeks from today! I already had an appointment! I called to complain and was hung up on after I called them out for not apologizing and for the supervisor lying they do not know about the issue and they would "look into it". You know it is an issue when the employee told me you all don't honor appointments made online.

If I could give a ZERO I would. The online service portal apparently does not work. I made a reservation, there was no notice of an issue. I was all set to drop my car off, changed my plans to do so. I went back online to make sure my time was correct, could not find it. So I call the dealership. Apparently the online site for service does not "work" (even thought it does work and gives you a completely successfully notice). Both individuals I spoke with said flippantly, "oh yah, the online portal does not work. I received "sorry or let me help to get you in." Avoid these guys. I wonder how many individuals showed up only to be turned away with no service appointment.

If I could I would leave no stars. They are not professional they will not answer you when you have questions and they will make up excuses. I left by vehicle there for a week to find out they haven't even looked at it and when they did they only made things worse. Now they can't even move me vehicle and have a technician look at it because they did I don't know what and they won't answer my calls or call back to me. The service manager could not help me he directed me to the service writer who is in charge of my vehicle just to give me the run around. Do not go here go to Cerritos champion their service is much better. Pathetic.
