Store doesn’t get the best items, I noticed that when I’ve shopped at surrounding Burlingtons. Also, why is there always 2 cashiers, it seems to take longer to get rung up than it took to shop around my whole visit. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this. I saw many people walk out leaving their item simply because the line was too long. I waited about 1/2 hour with the line wrapped around, it was a bit upsetting considering I had 1 item to purchase this last time. Not sure if management is to blame or the Corporation?

I lost my wallet, I ran to tell him at the entrance and he said he couldn't do anything, you can call me at 911. I can't either and it turned out that he was the manager.

Amya was disrespectful towards my girlfriend. She tried to embarrass us by yelling at her. This employee assumed we were ready to checkout. We obviously weren’t ready, we were comparing our items to the ones we saw at front. The staff here is always so entitled and disrespectful. With all age groups too. Burlington: hire people who have basic skills. Who can actually smile and be respectful to the customers!

the girls here are rude and have horrible attitudes. i was in line but i was still looking at things to buy. i was not facing the registers at all. my boyfriend and i were looking and talking about what else we should get. one of the employees yelled "NEXT!" i didn't turn around because there was a lady who get ahead of us because we obviously were not ready yet. she then yells again "MA'AM?!? NEXT!! NEXT IN LINE" i turned around, looked at her and i told her i was still looking. she gave an ugly look and so did her other female co-worker. while amya (the employee who yelled at me) was charging me for my items, the whole interaction was uncomfortable. she had a disrespectful tone in her voice. also i didn't know employees can be on their phone on the clock, especially when checking out a customer. as someone who works in customer service. i know customers can be rude, disrespectful, or even crazy but i wasn't the one who started anything with any of the employees. stores like burlington always hire the worst people.

My experience was bad, I bought a bag that was broken, I returned it. And they didn't give me back my full money, they kept my Taxes, even though it wasn't much, that's stealing and I'm very angry. Be careful when you return something, take your money first and if you are going to buy, do it later. Because they make fools of themselves and steal whatever they can from you. And they think you don't realize it, but I went to school, I know math.

My wife and I went on a Friday night after not having been to a Burlington in over 20 years because I'd heard they had discounted action figures. Due to traffic caused by random road work we got there later than I would have liked, but, after parking and slow walking to the door (I'm on oxygen), we got inside by about 11:41pm. Plenty of time to pass through the toy aisle and get back to the register before 12:00 midnight - their posted closing time (which is also the time that their recorded hours say they close when you call). Immediately upon entering, the Loss Prevention/Greeter informed us the store would be closing in five minutes. We double checked the time on our phones, and no, we hadn't lost 15 minutes between my truck and the front door. After attempting to confirm with the Loss Prevention/Greeter that the store closed at midnight and receiving a non-committal answer, an announcement was suddenly made stating that the store would be closing in two minutes and if customers weren't in line with our purchases within that time, they could not help us. I continued to the toy aisle as my wife went to find an employee to clarify. She was told that the computers would be shutting down at 11:45pm and the line would be closed and there was nothing the employees could do about it. As she was heading toward the back, I met her on my way to the register having found one item in the disaster area that was their toy section. We reached the registers and I waited patiently for the cashier to finish with another customer while, at least, three other employees, possibly more, went about various tasks, clearly aware that I was waiting. When my transaction was complete (which took place at 11:48pm according to my receipt, so much for the computers/registers locking down at 11:45 on the dot) I mentioned that they needed to change the recorded message on their phone line that says they're open until 12. My wife mentioned the door signage also indicated that they were open untill 12. The cashier didn't really know what to say. It was at that point that another employee intervened. She reiterated that closing time was 11:45, and we repeated that both the recorded message and door said otherwise. She replied that, yes, that was correct. When I stated that they were closing early, she immediately cut me off and repeated (strenuously) that "No, they were NOT closing early". I then reminded her of the recorded message and she claimed that was corporate's responsibility. Clearly they were closing early, but, she denied it, to my face, and her attitude was absolutely terrible. At that point I chose to leave, but I will be following up with the Store Manager, the District Manager, and Corporate. If they want to close at 11:45, that's their choice, but the signage and recording should be altered accordingly rather than waste people's time who show up after their arbitrary cut off time. Despite them having the discounted items in question, I highly doubt I'll be returning to their store.TL;DRThe employees closed the store early, lied about actual closing time despite hours being posted on door, and in a recorded message at their phone number.

I see that this location has gotten a lot of bad reviews but I have not had any issues at this location. The only bad part about this location is that there is no layaway option here. Customer service is ok. Selection can improve. Lines are not always long. The shopping center has plenty of parking. If Cerritos, Compton or Pico Rivera are too far I would consider this location as a recommendation. FYI Burlington is one of my favorite places to shop!!

They don't have public bathrooms! How is that possible? Something also basic for your clients.

Holidays coming up shoppers be aware especially men that accompany wife and kids. As you know shopping with family takes forever sometimes if in between that time you have to use the bathroom while shopping at Burlington, they have a new policy The bathrooms are for employees only . Not open to the public. Even if you're a patron keeping them in business. Men just be aware holidays are coming and we all know those long winter days.
