My daughter loves swimming and exploring at the lake. My family goes here sometimes and they enjoy it. We most usually go to parts of the lake that are free and open to the public. Great place.

The staff here is amazing. I come here sometimes twice a year every year. I've tent camped and more recently began renting the cabins. The premium cabins are really nice. The best one is the Tamarack. It's a beautiful place to get out into nature and close to Sacramento. Lots of stuff for kids too. Pool, lake, pool table, ice cream shop, baseball field, volleyball. Just a really great place to camp.

Our campsite was $85/night. The pool was out of order. The bathrooms were out of order. The ice cream shop wasn’t open. There were port a potties and they were clean but at $85/night I was expecting some amenities. The lake was beautiful, we had fun kayaking and there’s an island in the middle of the lake with a rope swing. It was fun but way too expensive for what we got.

My kids attend camp at Lake Francis Resort every Summer and have a blast! The cabins are cute and perfect for groups. There are tons of activities and spots to hang out.

Great spot to go for the day with lots of amenities. The only thing I would say is that the bathrooms at the campground need to be serviced more often--they ran out of toilet paper and one of the toilets got blocked up.

It's pretty, the lake is fun, they have a lot of things to do and rent, basketball, soccer ball skimming pool. Free showers, I gave it 3 stars because the campsite are all super close together and they do not enforce the curfew, super loud music and partiers screaming until 3am we had to go buy earplugs to get sleep. Also, C1 is a horrible spot right under the street lamp so it's daylight in your tent all night.

We love going to Bullards bar but we were kind of over staying at the schoolhouse campground so we decided to stay here this year. We were lucky and booked late but still got a spot! The campground is pretty large and they do an excellent job at keeping everything clean. Especially the bathrooms and showers. They have a cute little area where there is a killer ice cream and coffee shop. We didn't try the coffee but the ice cream sundae will not disappoint! There were deer everywhere which is always fun to watch. Overall we will definitely be back. The only reason for four stars is because they had a church group doing music in the theatre area and it would have been nice if they had an event that everyone could be comfortable attending.

The staff i met there was kind and helpful. There were too many campers with lights off every kind, music, out door theatre and live action role play...deep into the night. No peace and quiet. The pool had so many people that all you could do was stand in it. Great lake access but very loud with music blaring art concert sound level. The staff at the boat rental was nice.

11:15 pm and the is music blaring and people are partying. I feel like I am at a rave concert. I am pretty sure I heard a gunshot around 9:30pm. In our location for the women's bathroom. The two showers were not working and of the 2 family showers. The shower on the right was locked since Friday when I arrived for my Labor Day weekend. The one on the left was filthy. The RV sites are too close to each other. So disappointed in this place.

We stayed here for labour day weekend. We book an RV site and a cabin for friends. Wer where so impressed with both. We thought it was great value for the money we paid. Not only did we have a nice site there was numerous free activities for the kids. Archery, rock wall, Segway’s, art and crafts, to name a few. The activities pool and lake are a bit away from the sites but are kids had fun climbing into the back of the truck for the short trip down. Seemed to be the in thing to do. The staff all seemed lovely, they seemed real happy to be there and really wanted to help. We r looking forward to going back next time it will be longer.
