This review is regarding the Farm Box. Unfortunately a box was replaced with a half size box, and they did agree to refund the mistake - but never did, even upon follow ups. Don't feel comfortable purchasing the farm box after this, and do not recommend this service over others that have consistent customer service and accountability.

Been a member of Eatwell CSA for almost 10 years - so grateful for Lorraine and the team at Eatwell for bringing seasonal produce into our home year-round.The newsletters with recipes that use produce from the boxes and updates on the farm are so helpful :) The events at the farm are beautiful and very community-oriented.

We came for a tomato sauce making event and it was really neat! The owner brought us some strawberries to snack on while we cooked and invited us to go to the brewery down the street for a jug band performance. Some of our group stayed overnight and camped and had delicious biscuits in the morning! Lots of cats around that were pretty friendly. Fun way to spend a Saturday!

Have been a member for over a year now and continue to look forward to what's in the box! There are emails that go out too if you want a peek of what is in store for the week. I have found the selections are bountiful and fresh. All organic and there are add-ons from local makers, eggs, kimchi, other produce. My favorites: Yu choy, citrus, squash, potatoes, cabbage and their raisins! Check out their site to see if you have a host in your area and it's so simple to sign up and get rotated in. Easy to pause when away and Lorraine is super responsive if there are hiccups. You feel the care and passion in her emails. Has been a nice alternative to what is at my local grocer - saves me a trip to the market some weeks and helps to try some new things I wouldn't typically pick.

They make having a CSA SO EASY! The quality of the product is fantastic, you get continuous updates and suggestions for recipes with ingredients, and signing up was a breeze. I love having this CSA.

Disappointed on the quality, not even my Instacart shopper did this terrible picking fruits and veggies. I received green potatoes I had to throw out and tomatoes past their prime. We just received our last box today , 4 weeks was too long. The peaches and nectarines in the picture were in our box today, disappointing. I went with it because my wife liked the idea but there are better local areas in the Suisun Valley that are easy on the wallet, on the eye and on my tastebuds.

What an amazing CSA! I love the fact they have a box for 2 and very reasonable prices. Vegetables are always fresh and very flavorful.

I've been a happy Eatwell CSA member for the last ~3 years. The box/veggies are great and the farm is a true community - weekly newsletters written with care, events to bring people to the farm (we've gone up to pick olives for the last 3 years), and recipes shared by members. My comparison is a CSA in New York, and I can say Eatwell is leaps and bounds more flexible - you can skip a box if needed, and you pay as you go vs all up front for a season.

I have purchased from this farm at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market here in San Francisco and it is top notch quality. Just so you know, this address on Yelp @ 5835 Sievers Rd, Dixon, California is not a retail location. I just drove out here and there's nothing but a private residence and a massive farm. No on the spot place to make purchases and I didn't hang around long because after driving out into the field I started to feel like I might be trespassing on private property so just left. Yelp has some photos showing people and kids out in a field and while it is that same field for sure (you can tell by the mountains), those photos are over a decade old and those kids are probably in college now. So don't go by the old Yelp photos and think this is a farm open to the public. Nice pretty drive though.

I love being a part of Eatwell's CSA. They host member events that bring the community together, and most importantly, they take their role as stewards of the land very seriously. I know their produce is farmed with sustainable practices, and that knowledge makes everything I create just a little bit tastier.

Delicious, fresh, organic produce! Each box has a nice variety of vegetables, herbs, and fruits. We have lots of fun trying things we might not think to purchase at the grocery store...turnips and fennel are new favorites! Each box includes a newsletter from the farm with great recipe suggestions and cooking tips. We joined about 6 months ago, and it brings so much joy to our home!

I've been a member on and off for the better part of a decade. What a wonderful CSA! I look forward to every pick up. I think it's great that they have a subscription that allows for two boxes a month (as opposed to every week) which is just right for our household of two. They also have amazing eggs and specials you can add on to each pick up. Having a fridge full of fresh produce encourages a seasonal, local, and healthy kitchen!
