You can pick up just about everything you could need. They are a little pricier but have great customer service and ordering online to pick up at the store is super convenient, especially if you hate waiting in line.

My advice is to always check your receipt before leaving the store. The prices on the Safeway app and in the store are not the same. You do not get the sale price. If you scan the item in the store, that digital coupon does not show up on checkout. If it does, it’s not the correct price. However, the cashiers are good about making adjustments. Safeway doesn’t stand by their advertising. It’s dishonest and deceptive. Their app needs work! It’s a joke!

My last review was 11 years ago, I added their app which saves a lot of money and free delivery. A real blessing especially to us seniors. Still on occasion find an error on my bill but they correct with a smile. Fabulous team of staff especially Crystal and Nick. And their deli is great. The sandwiches are enormous and a great price . Great having a wonderful clean store here , plus they are regular donors to the food bank

This review is for the gentlemen that was working curbside alone this evening and for him only! I didn't catch his name, maybe Nate? I called to check status on my curbside order because it was running a bit late, he was extremely apologetic and offered to pack mine next. I found out he was working in this department ALONE with a high volume of orders. I can only assume that involves at the very least picking them, labeling and storing and also running them out?? This guy deserves a raise and some help!!!

Typical Safeway, but with excellent customer service. Never a problem finding knowledgeable staff and shopping carts are always in the corral.

It's to expensive. The employees are just okay sometime. Also, some customers have a sense of entitlement, just rude. However, there is a worker named Stephanie, absolutely wonderful. I have lived in San Ramon for almost 10 years. At SAFEWAY, on Bollinger, I always feel like I am going to visit family. For, the exception for MICHELLE, the store manager. She always has a mean look on her face and her attitude SUCKS. HOWEVER, ALEX & GINA (she is no longer there)?, THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE GEMS THAT ANY COMPANY COULD ASK FOR. THEY ARE THE REASON MY FAMILY AND I STAYED IN THE AREA. ALSO, THE PHARMACY at SAFEWAY on Bollinger, is a great big breath of Fresh OXYGENATED AIR FOR THE SOUL.
