We stayed here with our toddler for two nights. The cottage was cute, and just the right size. Very clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the sofa sleeper was only ok.
The location was fantastic. Such an easy walk to the beach and we could watch the sunset from our room or the shared patio area.
There aren’t a lot of restaurants nearby. But the small grocery on the property is great. The restaurant wasn’t open during our stay, as they are only open Thursday—Sunday.
Overall, I highly recommend. Good for families or romantic get aways.

We absolutely love this place! It’s our first time here and it’s a peaceful dream! Love that we were able to bring our dog with us!
Rooms: All rooms look amazing when we passed by some of the ones that were vacant. We stayed in the cheapest one. The bed is upstairs and the steps maybe steep for some. Would highly recommend upgrading to the Sandpiper Cottage, that’s what we will be doing from now on.
Walkability: The beach is a quick 3 minute walk. Beach is dog friendly and has fire pits.
Food and drinks: They have a general store for your everyday needs. Items are on the higher side because you are far from any grocery stores, which is expected. If you want to save a few bucks, I would recommend bringing food from home. There is a restaurant also but it’s not open everyday.

Great place to stay
The tiny homes are great. Comfortable / clean and well appointed.
We will definitely stay again.
Notes:
No laundry on site so pack for your stay
Bring snacks to have in your room otherwise no late night munchies for you
Walkability: The beach is a quick walk down. And a good workout coming back

This resort is very nice all around, however, my wife and I had driven quite a distance to get here. We arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon and check in is at 4:00. We didn't have a problem with that however the check in counter was not open when we arrived, do we went to the small store attached to the resort and asked to use their restroom. They informed us they didn't have any public restrooms and we could go down the hill to the local beach and use the public restrooms there. There is a $10.00 fee to park at the public beach, and the restrooms were terrible. As a resort we felt this was really unacceptable. What we paid per night for the rooms was quite high, but we were willing to do this as this place came highly recommend. As most of their guests drive some distance to get to them, we felt restrooms should be available to their guest even if they arrive a little early. As for the resort, I give it a overall rating of 4.5 . Just be aware to stop someplace before arriving to empty your bladder..
Walkability: It is quite a steep walk down to the beach. Not good for physically challenged people.
Noteworthy details: Make sure to stop and empty your bladder before you arrive if you're going to arrive before the 4:00 pm check in time. The staff at the local store was a bit cold shouldered.

This place is magical. Breathe taking views, sunsets are out of this world. The cabin was so clean and homey. Can't wait to go back

My husband and I stayed at Dillon's Beach Resort for the first time and we both loved it! It was perfect for our weekend getaway. We rented the Cypress cottage. It was the perfect size for 2 people. We ate at the the Coastal Kitchen both nights and we loved the food! The chef recommended my husband get the oysters, and they did not disappoint! The general store had everything you could need or want, so many options for drinks, snacks, spices, toiletries, souvenirs, everything! We will definitely be booking here again. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Stayed here for a couples anniversary trips. A quick getaway. Our weekend started out rainy which was a bummer. The tiny cottage was clean and simple. And so darn cute. The bed was so comfortable, I had the BEST nights sleep. Close to the beach. General store has anything you might need but it will cost you. Coastal kitchen was OK food. Tomales wasn't too far but once you are at th resort you have to talk yourself up to leave.
AT&T phone service is non existent. But the wifi is excellent.
Overall it was a great experience and we will stay again.
Ref: we stayed in cypress cottage. Be prepared to duck, crawl and make yourself small to get to the loft room.
Rooms: Clean and cute. Comes with everything you may need
Walkability: Close to the beach

Pleasant location with a nice view of Dillon Beach and the entrance to Tomales Bay. Cozy cottages are clean and good for relaxing while listening to the ocean nearby. General store handy for getting basics.

Had a great time here! Tiny homes and so cute and love being a quick walk from the ocean. My hubby and I came for my birthday and enjoyed our relaxing stay. A couple of things we noticed: - if you turn on the heater, the fridge stops working - window by our bed did not close - we ended up putting pillow over it - the internet was VERY spotty - there's no reception in the area

So relaxing and rejuvenating! We'll definitely be coming back over the years!THE GOOD° Nearly every cottage has a great view.° Cottages were clean and provided a lot of cooking pots/boards/pans.° Comfortable beds.- but the couch pullout not so comfy.° Each cottage has a hose to clean off all the sand.° There's a big general store with fresh coffee and ice cream. Items were priced decently.° Their restaurant, The Coastal Kitchen, had really good clam chowder and fish n chips (pictures on my review of CK).THE BAD° The fireplace almost seemed like it was more for looks than actual heat.- but you can turn on the thermostat and it will heat the cottageTHE UGLY° The sliding interior doors were god awful! - It didn't have a bottom guide rail and the "lock" was moreso to stop it from sliding.- Which btw, the doors would slide open by themselves (not leveled correctly?)if they could fix the door issue, I'd likely give 5 stars.
