Took my truck to Robinson for a ONLY smog test since they are one of few STAR stations in Placerville. There was a problem with one of the glowplugs they recommended i replace all 8 for $900.00. i agreed as long as they would smog the truck after the plugs were replaced. THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE IT HAPPEN. Get a call before pickup so sorry we are not going to smog your truck we dont have our STAR certification anymore. WHAT?? If i had know that i would have never gone to your shop. And when my wife picked up the truck they made NO offer to make it right NO discount NO coupons all they did was make an appointment for me at a smog stations 35 miles away. Gee thanks! WHAT A JOKE!!!!. Stay away from this place. Give your money to someone who has their act together.

I was amazed at how helpful this place was in getting my registration paid and my smog check done and transferring my car into my name! With dmv closed robinsons seriously saved me!

Had an oil and tire rotation. Very nice to have met Marty (owner) and Rebecca. Folks here did a great job in reasonable time. I would for sure be taking my vehicles there and will be referring my friends about this place.

The most helpful automotive shop...hands down! Debbie Green was fantastic in offering assistance when our car broke down on Hwy 50, outside of Pollock Pines in the afternoon. She not only promised to have the vehicle evaluated the same day, but offered to drive us to the local hotel for accommodations!! We were quite lucky to stumble upon this auto shop where the employees were kind, willing to offer assistance and assure us that our vehicle would be ready on time.

The shop came highly recommended by a friend and I am very pleased to have had them repair my truck. They are known for outfitting and repairing first responder vehicles and with that type of skill and Trust placed in them I felt confident they would take very good care of my rig.
