This is our son’s first year in Mt. Calvary and we are so grateful that we enrolled him in this school. The school is small enough that it’s easy to remember faces and names. We love his teacher! Everyone is kind. I love the songs & prayers my son has been learning in class. This is a great school ?

They changed the principal in 2021. He made some policy changed. For example, extended the student number form 12 to 22. And some old teachers retired because of covid. When i visited the school there were 12 students in one classroom, but when we started the school there were 22 student in one small classroom. There was no extra helper For the teacher. The classroom is too small and There was no space to let children move around. Fortunately, the teacher is very good and patient. She loves and respects Each Child. They teach children the bible so my kid has a solid foundation which is pretty awesome. Most Kids are very nice and polite. They respect rules and other students. Parents are easy going too. Except for the class size and small classroom, everything is pretty good. They don't have a lot of homework. They offer sports piano dance classes. If you attend Sunday church you can get a dome tuition discount. This school does not offer computer classes for younger kids. But public school offer computer class as early as first grade. Some parents children already graduated form this school and they said their children were academically advanced. Its not difficult to get prize in this school because they don't have a lot of students.

Distance Learning havoc at Mt. Calvary School in Diamond BarOur son was going to Southlands Christian Schools from first grade to fifth grade where he was a honor roll scholar getting mostly A's but he had 29 kids in his class and we thought that it was too crowded, so we decided to move him to Mt. Calvary school in Diamond Bar, which only had 11 kids in 6th grade. We thought that he will get a lot of personal attention.Every child in distance-learning expects a proper online platform where they can submit their homework assignments and tests and that it would reach the teacher in a few minutes so the teacher can grade the child. Since late August Mount Calvary failed to provide such a platform for our son and you will be shocked to read what Mt. Calvary did when we complained and protested. We had to record a video clip in real time with date and time stamp to show that our son was submitting his assignments and then they would go "missing" the next day, his work would be lost and he would do it again and again. When he would re-submit it would seem like he was "unsubmitting" and then submitting again. Our son consistently complained for five months and he got depressed, he got angry and frustrated because they would not believe him he would say I have done my homework I've done my assignment I've done my test I've submitted it but it would not reach the other end to the teachers. This went on from late August all the way to now in February and ultimately the class teacher decided to contact their IT service provider Data Network Solutions in Corona, California to find out what was wrong with our son's account. However the Principal of Mt. Calvary then asked DNS to figure out a way to attack our son and blame him for everything. DNS had its rep to prepare a vicious overkill attack and slide presentation to show that our son was doing this on purpose to dupe his parents and teachers into thinking that he had done his homework, that he had plagiarized a para from the internet and that he had tried to "wipe off or delete the hard questions. All this was piled on us at a surprise ambush meeting with no opportunity to defend or bring our son face to face or bring our own expert. Our son denied ever doing such preposterous things and he said that his class teacher had told him that it was Ok to copy from other websites, while his wife also a teacher called it plagiarism and that it was a major violation. 95% of students across this country have plagiarized at some point in their life. If it was such a big offense then she should have called, texted or emailed the Parents ASAP or call the Principal but this was "stored" in the arsenal to be used at a later date in the "sham meeting" During the meeting DNS Rep gave us a printout by accident that showed our sons submissions were in the system from 6-10 hours but were not reaching the teachers, when we pointed this out to the DNS Rep but he refused to reply and the Principal then sent two emails, in one he conceded that "we can all agree that there is a problem" and in another email he called it a "technical glitch" Our child suffered tremendously for five months resulting in negligent infliction of extreme emotional distress and trauma. He became aloof, crying, angry and very dispirited with low morale. He also stated that the questions he was accused of "wiping off with his mouse" were actually very easy for him.One would think that the school will ask Data Network Solutions to fix our son's account but instead, the Principal said that we should pay $ 70 more per week for our son to come to school campus to do distance learning. He showed us a large table that our son would share with another girl from his class. But when our son went to the campus they treated him like a criminal they brought a special desk and put it right in front of the desk of the counselor, in the extended care so he could see his screen right above his shoulder. The counselor was watching over him lik

Both my kids were positioned for success as graduates of Mt Calvary. Our experience proves they were well prepared for high school socially and academically. Mt Calvary uses rigorous educational standards and spiritual grounding to help parents raise strong, independent kids, ready for life's challenges!
