So happy I found this salon. I always get compliments on my nails. I like simple and short, usually with simple design. My own nails have been bad for at least 10 years and I have tried many treatments. Her gel has been the answer. Yukari does a wonderful job. The cost is on the higher side but it lasts for weeks! My daughter did her wedding nails here and they were beautiful.

I hate to give small business bad reviews however I feel the need to warn future customers. While Yuki is great at what she does, she runs her place with a I don't need your business attitude. I had to reschedule my appointment the second time (with a week's notice) and it was clear that Yuki was not happy. She responded with a link to make the appointment online (vs. text) and placing a deposit via Venmo. If I cancelled or reschedule at the last minute, then Yuki has every right to be upset. However, I gave her well advanced notice. Don't go to Japan Beauty Plus unless you can commit to your appointment 100% of the time. There are hundreds of nail salons in DB that are more accommodating and flexible!

I LOVE my nails! It has been over two years since I've gotten my nails done. Found Yukari on Yelp and I'm so glad I reached out. My nails are gorgeous! She did a great job and they look exactly like the inspiration pic. She really took her time and was very careful and clean. I highly recommend and look forward to having her do my nails again.

Love love love Japan Beauty Plus. Small, intimate and cute venue. You watch Netflix while they work. They are so amazing, listen to you and understand exactly what you want done. I don't see myself going anywhere else. They are so amazing! Definitely go here for the best 'kawaii nails' in the area. I can't sing enough praise about them! They are epic!

Late post- Had my nails done a month ago by Masumi. She did a wonderful job. Yukari did my eyelashes, they always look so natural and I always get compliments. If you are looking for a great place, try Japan Beauty Plus. Worth the price:)

Overpriced for the quality you get. Brought my own deco nail stickers and 3D stickers and still end up being charged as if I didn't bring my own supplies. Yukari did my nails. She shaped the gel tips well, but when she started applying the gel, that's when everything went wrong. The shapes started to become uneven, surfaces of the top coat became roads filled with potholes, and massive leftover gels on my skin! I didn't catch these details until a few days later, which was too late since I was already overseas for my vacation. I didn't have time to message her until I got back, and explained that I was on vacation, which I told her that I will be going on vacation shortly after that appointment at the salon. Her respond and I quote:" I am sorry to hear that but it already passed 2weeks if you tell us immediately we could do fix( like top coat or shaping one more time ) . I saw your nail pic you brought your own 3D stuff ( hand made ) if you put a lot of stuff like that it very hard to put apply top gel and even everything . Please understand." 1. She knew that I was going off for vacation, maybe that's why she rushed through everything thinking that I couldn't get in touch with her. 2. Complete BS! Top coat shouldn't peel off that easily even with 3D nail decos. I have had my nails done multiple times in the past and never had an issue. Will not be returning to this salon ever again. Do not recommend anyone else to go.

Amazing work, lasted 5 weeks!! I got the Japanese gel. It was so out of my budget though. You definitely get what you pay for though. The quality is amazing. I paid 50$ for a solid color shirt nail manicure. If you can spend the money on it then I'd say give it a go! They do a great job!

I've been coming here for almost a year. Before this place, I was driving 45 miles away to get my nails done every 3 weeks and I really wanted to find a place closer to home. I did not realize that the gel they use is extremely damaging to your nails. This week I went in to get my gel removed, I want my nails to take a break. I was shocked to learn that I had to pay $20 for the gel removal but I had already driven for nearly 2 hours so I agreed to pay it. Their gel removal process involves using their hand drill to literally sand the gel from your nails, they do not use the soak off product. I asked for a manicure after the gel removal. I don't like nail polish, I just like my nails buffed. As Masumi went to buff my nails, she quickly learned that my nails could not be buffed because she left some gel on my nails. Masumi attempted to buff and only a tiny portion of my nail was shiny. She cautioned that if she removed all of the gel, my nails would be very, very thin. She suggested that I put nail polish on, but I did not want nail polish. So I left with dull nails that were very uneven. As I went to get in my car, I immediately noticed that all of my nails hurt. Even the light grip of the steering wheel caused me some discomfort. When I got home, I cut my nails down super short to help alleviate the discomfort. I'm still experiencing discomfort in my everyday tasks like writing and typing. If something hits my nails, I feel discomfort. I will not get this type of gel anymore due to the damage that is caused to my natural nails. Over the last few months, I no longer felt like the quality was there. When I would come in for a new set, I noticed the gel from the previous set was never removed completely (now I know why) and sometimes there would still be color on my nails. I noticed they feel comfortable in covering up leftover elements from your previous nails. My nails would not be completely flat, I'd notice lots of small lumps and bubbles in the final products. I used to go to Nail Factory in Torrance and my nail tech The prices are pretty expensive. You are charged $10 to remove your gel. A simple one color gel application is like $50. If you want any designs, you will get charged. One time I got a french tip and added a silver line under the white. Each line was $1. The french tip was very expensive. The quality is very good. My nails have never lifted or anything like that. One time I wore my nails for 5 weeks with no issue. They can replicate designs if you'd It's very easy to book an appointment, I usually make appointments a couple days in advance with no problem. They do good work, I just wish the gel wasn't so damaging to natural nails.

I lived in Diamond bar area quit a while but have not find decent nail shops. After I move to more further east, I must find local place where I can visit occasionally. Book appointment and went there right on time. I was little confused about the location. Its not hard to find but its right next to parking lot where nail shop located toward street side. Today my nail was done by Masumi and she did great job on design that I brought. I am actually really picky about gel design because I do not do nails that often nowadays but when i do it, i want to spend $ on right nail technicians. I been to few other diamond bar nail salon and I disliked it. I paid about(70+) for my design. For price, I believe little pricy than other nail salon but I think they are using good quality japanese gel. One flaw would be it will be nice if she did some lotion massage on my hand after she finish my nails. This is my first time and I hope next visit will be wonderful as well and I want to try facial treatments next time.
