Only gave one star cuz I can't give zero.I'm actually quite emotional over my last experience with the office in Desert Hot Springs. I had to give it a full day before I wrote this review.I went to get my taxes done and ask a simple question about weather not my new corporation needs to be filed even though I haven't ran any revenue through it.The supervisor proceeded to interrupt my conversation with the tax professional. He began giving me corporational business advice. I'm telling me that I shouldn't do advetising business because people are gonna look at me and scoff at me? I was appalled at the rudeness of the statement as he laphed at me with half his tweeker teeth missing. Because of this experience; I WILL NOT EVER use H & R Block again. Fire him is my suggestion.

If I had the option to put NEGATIVE STARS, I would. I DO NOT recommend this place in the slightest. After about four weeks of not getting my state refund, I was beginning to think that there had to be something wrong. However, I gave my rep, BRANDY FERNANDEZ the benefit of the doubt. After another week and a half and still no refund, I knew something wasn't right. After calling this place numerous times, I finally got an answer. I politely but sternly inquired about my refund and all that the gentleman (HA) could tell me is that they have "no idea and to call the IRS." Well GUESS WHAT...I called the IRS and I was informed that my paperwork had several blanks-DL number, marital status, adjusted gross income were ALL LEFT BLANK BY BRANDY HERNANDEZ, also, the address that was posted was completely WRONG. Thank God, the IRS rep was very kind and very helpful and I finally got it taken care of. When filing, I got the feeling that she just wanted me to hurry, give her the money and leave. She was not professional at all, when I stated that I was not paying the fee upfront (which was a RIDICULOUS $300) but I was going to have them take it out of my refund, she rolled her eyes and acted as if she was annoyed. After my appointment, I couldn't help but to have a horrible feeling about what just happened. Obviously my gut feeling was right. She was completely lazy and failed to type in the correct information...even when I PUT IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. When I pay money to a professional, I expect that the service is done correctly. And if a mistake happens, I expect it to be owned up to and FIXED. These people did neither of these. Never in a million years would I think that I would be treated this way at such reputable company. BRANDY, you need have a little more training on customer service. You are a better fit for the local McDonald's than at HRBLOCK. Others would be smart to not go to this joke of a company!!

Yes it is a little bit more expensive but you do get treated better you are shown whether or not you're going to get something they're very very polite especially when they're just giving their opinions that are not on record the customer service was just excellent and made it a lot easier I did not have to have my father in the car and take him anywhere it could all be done from right here from my phone the only thing that I would add would be that to bring back the giving our taxes early and taking a fee out and then HR Block to keep our taxes but obviously something went wrong there and that's no longer a thing. I apologize for any misspellings or punctuations. I am using talk-to-text as my texting is not the best

I haven't filed taxes due to not working in about 10 years so I was a little nervous I actually was supposed to go to another h&r block Branch but due to hearing rumors about the workers there I decided to cancel that appointment and I'm very glad I did and I went here in town why I live upon going into my appointment I had a Jenny Hernandez absolutely wonderful person did my taxes really quick I'm actually going to go back to her because she was actually going to help me with some stimulus that I was never informed are aware that I had rights to she was very pleasant very professional actually she was helping everybody else in the office with all their stuff because she's really on top of it great person I will always have her do my taxes from here on out nobody else
