Descanso Trading Post is a cute little store and great pit stop in the mountains. They have a little bit of everything you would need to spend the day outdoors, including snacks, drinks, sleds, and odds and ends for camping or hiking. The staff is always pleasant, super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about local spots and conditions. They are big on manners. It is a loved part of the Alpine community.
