“Super amazing cheese shop! They let you sample anything! Tried not to try everything! Even was introduced to camel milk cheese! Soo yummy!!! You gotta try this place! You can even sign up for a cheese membership and they ship you 3 cheeses monthly I believe for around $90 per shipment!”
“My favorite kind of restaurant—tastefully casual with helpful, knowledgeable staff and really really good food. I don't recall ever having had a duck breast that was as perfectly cooked or as perfectly tender. My duck liver pate appetizer (yes, I like duck) was so good I finished it for dessert. I'd be amazed if this isn't one of the best restaurants in Monterey.”

“Dependable, friendly, local market and deli. Prices are just a bit high, but expected for location. Great service and mostly friendly staff (except for the woman at the sandwich counter who always seems to think people who order a sandwich are all annoying her). The sandwiches are good, though. Great local wine collection.”

“INCREDIBLE service for weddings and events. George opened Drinkie's in the last 1.5 years and his service is the best in the Carmel area. If you're getting married at any Monterey peninsula venue I highly recommend George and Drinkie's for all liquor/beer/wine needs. He is extremely responsive over call or text and could put together huge orders for 200+ people with just a day or two notice. He'll also deliver it directly to your venue and recommend quantities. Much cheaper than paying for a vendor to do an open bar package if your venue allows it, and much more customization for the exact options you put on your bar. 10/10”

“Ordered a full soy garlic to go. The flavor is great but the chicken does not stay crispy with the sauce. The drum portion was good but the wings were extremely small in size. I would recommend getting the drums if you’re looking for meat in the meal.”

“Great selection - only place to find Belgian and other harder to find beer styles in the area. Clean and the wine is well stocked. Employees always cheerful and helpful. One of the only "under new management" places that vastly improved that I can think of.”
“Wow how have I never been in here. They have so much liquor in this place it's practically pouring out of the store. Been going for their good selection of soft drinks and chips for those chest days. The owner at the counter is super sweet and always has a smile on her face. The place seems dark but it could be because the town is dark due to no power lol. Overall it's a good place to have nearby.”

“More casual than romantic, but we came in to wine down & rest. Don't worry on having to come in dressy, the tastings were delicious & bottles are affordable, we bought one that was a Chaucer's mead. Great spot to kick back & relax if you've been walking a while. Better to visit with your spouse or a friend, the spot is small & cozy!”

“I always find the neatest things at World Market. I love the greeting cards, the home decor and furniture, and the different foods from all over. I especially love the different chocolates, nostalgic items, and tea paraphernalia available, as well as the cooking and entertaining items. The store is a pretty good size, always clean and just so much to see. I rarely come out empty handed. Prices are fair for what you get. I recommend them for unique and fun items.”

“Basic liquor store. I guess they have adult films in back. I couldn't help but ask, but I didn't check them out so I can't review that. Otherwise they're fine, but not remarkable. They get an extra star for faithfully and consistently being open until midnight 7 days a week.”
