“Brandi went out of her way to find packages that I dropped off earlier to double check that each of the 5 packages was going to the right address. Great service with a smile I’ve always had a good experience here!”

“I came from New York City to help my son and his fiancé get their passport. They didn’t have an appointment and we happened to walk in to this post office for help. The clerk David was so very helpful and patient with them as this was their first time getting the passport. He made the process very easy and painless. Thank you David for your help. Wish more clerks were this nice.”

“The staff here have been so helpful, and the location so convenient, for me for many years, it's time to put up a review! Today I asked a lot of them, mailing 10+ bulky holiday packages that also needed packaging upgrades and a lot of patience. They were nice, efficient & organized in taking care of all of it! A neighborhood gem who will help you with all your mailing needs.”

“Thank You Chris and JonJon for changing my attitude towards going to the Post Office. I ship packages numerous times per month and use to dread the Post Office. Now, knowing either Chris or JonJon will be there and I'll be greeted with a smile, a hello and a genuine sense they care makes going here feel like a happy outing and not a dreaded chore. They are both friendly, professional and very knowledgeable any time I've asked or overheard another customer asking for help. The atmosphere and energy here is nothing but positive.Definitely recommend heading here to ship your packages.Thank you, thank you Chris and JonJon :)”

“Set up my appointment online. Showed up 10 minutes early and they took me right in. I was out in 10 minutes. Very friendly women helped me.. service could not have been handled more professionally nor more friendly. Now I hope I get my new passport quickly. Fingers crossed!!”

“I've had a PO box here for 2y now. Initially the one worker there was a woman close to retirement who I guess never filed any of my PO box paperwork from when I originally got it (this became an issue later with a name change and documentation) or gave me the door code for after hours. But she left a while ago and there's a new guy who's on top of things and great.

Prices of po boxes change but when I got one here this was the cheapest option in the area because it's small and not a 24h or typical big post office - however for PO box renters you get a door code for after hours so don't worry about it not being open as late if you're just picking up mail.

Otherwise no complaints, and unlike where I last had a PO box(rsf and pasadena) I've never had an issue with package theft here or misdeliveries. The 2 times there was a package issue had to do with a site not letting me add the PO box 4digit zip ending so they didn't know whose box it belonged to - but found my name and just called me.”

“There are the most wonderful people work here: always friendly, efficient, polite, and sweet. All of the employees are very professional, and yet very personable. I love coming to this post office. People are what makes the business great, and you guys are doing incredible job, especially during holiday craziness! I have no idea how you guys can stay on track with this kind of work overload, but you manage effortlessly. Much respect to you guys!”

“This branch is usually excellent. I actually avoid the post office in Del Mar and travel farther to Solana Beach. But recently as the line grew, the only employee working the counter finally rang the bell for more help. A slovenly overweight man appeared to ask if anyone were just picking up mail. Hearing none, he departed. This is SOP for postmasters who NEVER roll up their sleeves to wait on customers. He had apparently directed the only other employee to empty trash and process packages instead of attending to customers. No one would ever run a business this way except the government, in particular, the U. S. Post Office.”

“Excellent customer service and a friendly staff. For those who say they were not treated properly, I’ve seen so many rude and customers who feel entitled treating the staff horribly so I can see why the staff might have an attitude at times. Take a step back and appreciate where you are.”

“I come in here at least once a week and have been for years. I’ve never had anything but kind and efficient customer service. It baffles me why the ratings for this location are mixed.”

“Like most Military bases this base has a Post Office (staffed by civilians but mostly military personal) and is only accessible to those who have base privileges. No need to give it 1 star because you can’t access it. The staff is very kind and professional. I like to go to this location because it is clean, good parking and even when busy they move the line along quickly.”

“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”

“I was shipping a package from NC to California and it experienced some delays along the way. I was worried it would not arrive in time (it was a time sensitive package) so I submitted a USPS help request, honestly not expecting too much. The very next day, on a Saturday, I received a detailed voicemail from Antonio about the status of my package and that he would look into it and keep updating me on it. The following few days, he left me two more voicemails letting me know the package had arrived at the local post office, and then finally that it was delivered. Shoutout to Antonio for seriously going above and beyond - idk if you’ll ever see this, but I appreciate you ??”

“I come to this post office frequently and only ROMY is the most helpful and does the job right. I mailed out the same letter size several times and Romy gave me the exact amount of stamps needed while other clerks would rather over sell the postage amount then give me the correct price until I had to tell one of them why can't you give me the exact postage amount in stamps?! It's the principal not the $ amount. No one wants to get ripped off, so be aware if they try to have you pay more then you really should. If you get Romy he is the honest one.”

“What a lovely experience! I was trying to send Easter bunnies to my Mama and sister and the mail clerk was very friendly and incredibly helpful. She took her time with me and explained all my options, trying to save me money. And, although limited, they have some pretty cards that I got to add to my package.”

“I have worked in the area for 10+ years and have not had a bad experience yet. Everyone has been patient and kind to me. I have seen some real jerks come in and be very rude to the postal workers and they are still polite!!!!”

“After seeing the reviews I was expecting the worse but it was pretty painless. People made it seem like it was a terrible USPS location but apart from the customer door looking kind of run down everything went pretty smooth. I rang the bell and got my package 2 minutes later. It does look kind of weird and there's not a lot of parking so that could be an issue.”

“People should know that the staff has nothing to do with the location closing. If you need to complain, go to the usps.com or call the 1-800 number provided in the site. And if you are in a hurry to mail something do not arrive at closing time; manage your time! People should have their packages ready to ship. Not arrive with the label not pasted to the box or the box not closed properly expecting the staff to do it for you. If you have not pasted the address label or your box is opened then buy the tape and do it yourself. The post office is not a place to acquire free merchandise, the post office is a place to bring your prepared packages and they will kindly "mail it" with the appropriate stamps. That is their job, they are not your maid or your secretary! And do not compare the post office with fedex. Of course fedex will prepare the package for you; but it is not for free, they are charging you to do it! Save your money and dont be pretending for other people to do your work and then complain because it was not done to your standards! A lot of lazy people! People should stop complaining just because things do not accommodate to your lazy standards. And if the front cashier says that she knows there is no package in the back for you is because SHE KNOWS! Never think she is being disrespectful by not walking to the back and coming back and saying the same thing. They work there and they know what is there and what is not there! I believe they do a great job with what they have! They are employers like you and me! And they do their best to help you with your attitude!”
