We love Dexter’s Deli! The staff is always helpful and friendly…and Charlie Doodle gets a special treat! The food, treat, and toy selections are excellent. My wardrobe is full of Dog Mom shirts and a baseball cap I purchased here. Plus, we appreciate their loyalty program and free gifts during holidays! This is our favorite dog store!

Picked up a birthday cake for my dog here! They can customize the text and it looks great! My dog loved the cake too! We got the peanut butter birthday cake and requested pink icing. There were a ton of frozen cakes in the freezer ready to go or be customized. There are a lot of gifts, toys, treats also available for purchase here. It was pretty busy on a Saturday morning and we had to wait a few minutes to get the custom text added to the cake.

They allow Pet Parents to celebrate the Holidays just like other parents. They always provide fun festivities for Dogs that are safe and appropriate.They have toys / boutique styles for ALL sized dogs.If they don't have it they will get it!

Great selection of toys, treats, and even gifts/apparel for humans. The staff is really friendly. I give four stars only because, as a veterinary professional, I personally don't agree with raw food diets or getting pet food recommendations from a retail store but I just don't go in that section and all is well.

Can't believe I've never reviewed Dexter's Deli. We have been coming here for years-always for any of my pup's birthdays. Everyone loves their pupcakes:)) I also shop here for their food, which available in the freezer section. The bonus is, you get one free after a certain number. The food I buy requires I buy 16 before I get one free. However it costs $33/pack, so it is definitely worth it. Other food brands require only 6, 10 or 12. Another bonus is the points program. I always get $5 off during every visit because I rack up that many points:)Finally, my dogs just love going with me because they have the best staff and the best treats:)

The staff is very knowledgeable, and Nic helped me fine, right immunity supplements, and flea/tick prevention without pesticides. He also helped me find the right foods for my dogs conditions. The variety of foods, treats and healthy options for dogs, and cats is amazing! They love the Green Juju brands, Bamboo bowls, and bow ties. My new fave pet store!

So many great items here for both dogs and cats. I get my dog’s birthday cake every year here. He loves it! Staff is so friendly and it seems like I always have rewards to use, whether it’s $1 or $5. And I don’t come super often. Love it!

I usually go to the Carlsbad location. They have a variety of treats and toys for your pup. I came to get my puppy a cake and a toy for her birthday. The staff is so friendly!

We loVe coming to Dexters! It's the Disney Store for dogs. But not only that, every single person who works in this store, is so knowledgeable about any topic you want to talk to them about. I could not have raised my dog without them. I mean that. I have come in many a time, with what I thought was a problem, only to be schooled by these professionals, who always know what is really going on with your dog. I can't say enough great things about Dexters, but I know I will never go anywhere else for my dogs' needs. It's so reassuring to know, you are giving your pet the very best diet, to keep them healthy & thriving. And Dexters is pretty cutting edge; always on top of new things. A big shout out to Kelly...who is named our Sister-Wife ,as another customer calls her,( lol) but she is. I can come to Kelly with any topic or concern, and she will give me a thorough explanation/solution, and I always leave Dexters, feeling like I'm a pretty good Dog MomGirl after all. This store, and these people, are the very best in the business and I highly recommend Dexters Del Mar.
