Beware! SYLVIA is mean to clients and her fellow staff members - I have been coming here for years! today I came back to let them know my nails from last week (I always get Gel - and they typically last 3-5 weeks) were all cracked and my nails were breaking as a result - everyone was lovely until SYLVIA came out; she was rude, mean and told me off - said that it was my fault- right after she had said sometimes it's the product .... I just wanted them to fix it- I would have tipped and come back next time I'm due - Valerie & Ha are so lovely but I refuse to support a business where this kind of person is management.

The receptionist is extremely rude and mistreats the nail techs who work very hard. After the organic pedicure, I gave a $20 bill to the nail tech and the receptionist started screaming at her in Vietnamese. The nail tech went to give the $20 to the receptionist and I said, "No, it is for her." The nail techs do a great job. They deserve their tips.

Nails are very bumpy. So much trash talk in their language. They cut me. Left bruises on my fingers from flicking my joint to clear the powder off. Terrible experience. Not coming back in their dreams. Felt like a 5 year old doing my nails. I even had an appointment!

Do you want to be treated like a princess? The only requirements are to be white and American. I took my wife and her sister (both Hispanic) to have their nails done and from the moment we arrived they treated us badly. They gave us attitude and acted as if they didn't know what they were doing. A few minutes later we saw how well they treated two white girls who had come in. The worst part was that they cut my sister-in-laws fingers and left a bad finish on her nails. If she could she would give this place -3 stars

This was the first time I had been to Del Mar Nail Bar. I went on Monday 11/13 to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Within 3 days, both the polish on my toes and nails had chipped. While I was getting my manicure, the lady noticed a dark spot on my nails, tried to remove it but didn’t completely. After my nails were done, I noticed a few black spots as well as holes in the polish. Very over priced for the service I received, but the ladies were very nice.

First time going to this place for dip and after $60 (including tip) I'm so bummed to walk out with them looking like this with dip powder covering my fingertips and some unevenly filed nails. My nail tech was super sweet and tried to scrape it off using a cuticle cutter but then it only started scraping my actual skin so I just said forget it. Really bummed as it's been beyond difficult to find a good nail tech.

I have been going to Del Mar Nail Bar for a few years on and off and have never had a problem with the quality of my manicure or pedicure until this last time. I went in wanting to get a simple acrylic gel manicure for an important wedding I have coming up. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. I left the salon unhappy with the shape and color. After only a few days my manicure looked grown out and not good at all. I called to ask if they would be willing to discount me if I came back in for them to fix it and they told me I would have to pay full price for them to fully redue them. I will not be going back.

Today my friend booked an appointment at 3:45 and we got confirmation at Del Mar Nail Bar. We showed up for the appointment at 3:45 on the dot and were told to sit down and wait. Me and my friend ended up waiting 40 minutes. We were very upset but the staff was very accommodating. They took notice to their mistake and they did an amazing job on our pedicures. They even ended up giving my friend and I a discount. I was very impressed with there incredible customer service.
